Workout skill

I finally made a sim with athletic trait and I noticed the word flair for the very first time.  With having that trait does it give some kind of buff in leveling up the skill or give extra when it comes to working on the challenges?  Also, does this go with the other skills as well or is athletics the only one that has the "flair" ability?

The "flair" is coming from a different trait, not athletic. I can't think of which trait it is.  If you'll post your Sim's other traits, I'll recognize it. It doesn't add anything to the workout that I'm aware of.

I believe Sims with the Star Quality Natural Born Performer trait can do things with flair. I don't think it affects the action in any way. It's just the same as 'Evil Slumber' for Evil Sims or 'extreme' actions for Daredevil Sims.

Edit: Forgot it was Natural Born Performer, not Star Quality.

Diva sims also get the option to do things with flair. Or it might come from being at a high level in the Singer profession. I have a diva singer at the moment who's not a Natural Born Performer, and she gets to shower and rock with flair.
