Stocking a pond

This might seem like a stupid question, but can I put salt and fresh water fish in the same pond? I don't see any way to make a salt water area in my lot so I guess so?
Is there any way to make my pond have two separate fishing spots?q

Yes, you can stock your pond with any fish (fresh or salt), assuming you have 10 fishes for stocking. You can't make two separate fishing spots in one pond, but you can make two ponds for your two types of fish.
