Can you have two sims who live together go on a date at home?

Help - I can't seem to figure this out... How do you have two sims who live in the same house have a date at home?

When I do "Ask On Date.." the neighborhood travel screen comes up. And it won't let me pick the home lot as the destination for the date.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to go on a date at home when the sims live together?

I believe that if you first have them travel somewhere else, the home lot will be selectable as a date destination.

Thanks, Zyffyr!Your suggestion worked... though it would be nice to just have a home date straight off. E.g. if the sims have kids at home they can't leave alone.

When the game was first released you go have a date on the current lot, whatever that lot was. After one of the patches you have to go somewhere new for a date. It doesn't matter if you are at home or at a venue. Quite frustrating.

After the Feb 3 patch you can take some out on a date on the current lot.
From the patch notes. "Sims can now have dates on their currently active lots."
I done it a few times sense the patch and it does work now.
