I agree those parties are dreadful also who invites a bunch of people and then go to bed as soon as they show up?
It was kinda fun though when the hosts went to bed at the beginning of the party and my Sim started to play her drums next to their bed. When I canceled the action she stayed where she was and took out her guitar instead!
