How to Build Fountains

I briefly toyed with the new fountain tool and was utterly unimpressed with myself.  Does anyone have tips on how to make nice fountains?  Maybe some pictures for examples?

I don't yet own the Late Night expansion pack, but surely there are some nice water features in Bridgeport? It'd be strange for them to introduce fountain tools and not use them in the city. All I've done with the tool so far is to place a few of the "sprinkler" fixtures in front of a house. They make rather nice decorations on their own.

That kind of sprinkler effect does look nice but I'm with Pam on this one.  I've briefly played around with the fountains but even with moveobjects on I couldn't get the effect I wanted.
