When Did I Buy This?

I was browsing the Sims 3 Store today, and noticed some items I don't remember buying with checkmarks next to them, meaning I owned them! I'm not complaining, I just wonder how I got those. ???

I can only offer a couple of guesses:  1.  Perhaps the item was part of a set you purchased; or 2.  Maybe some kind person gifted it to you?
