Improving Success Odds - "Hunt"

The Success Odds of "Hunt" for my Knight are medium, but my Focus Meter is full. If "Focus" doesn't affect Success, then what does?

The Knight was Level 4 at the time.

I would think that the Skill and Weapons/Armour a Hunter has would affect the Outcome of a Hunt but there may be something else such as it lowers if you have recently been hunting or something.

If I remember correctly the hunt option became green when my knight/spy hit level 6, with full focus of course.

Tested with starting gear. Don't know if it affects it
