My pregnant young adult sim still goes to school?

My teenage sim aged up to a young adult and is still in school?
She's also pregnant?
Is this a glitch?

Definitely. Do you have any mods or CC that could cause this?  Don't actually name the mod if you do. Just asking cause sometimes they mess the game up.

No, I don't know what mods are I just started playing the sims 3, 3 weeks ago. I use cheats?
My sims goes to school, but can't do homework, if she gets a job she still has school.
She doesn't even get anytime off for being pregnant!

I use cheats too (as does Esther  ) but this has never happened to me. Can you stop her going to school by cancelling the interaction? Does the school bus still pick her up?

Mods are modifications to the game that are highly dangerous, but I should probably let a moderator explain this fully.

Yep, the school bus still picks her up and I can stop her going to school. just gets annoying with the bus turning up :/

Oh yes I'm a huge cheater! This has never happened to me either though. Everytime my teen ages up, she stops going to school. This is very bizarre!   I will also let a moderator, or administrator tell you what mods are. Their mention is forbidden here so to stop confusion I'll let them respond.

Have you shut down the game and restarted?  It's definitely a glitch, but it might be one you can shake loose with restarting the game.

No Pam, It doesn't go if I re-start the game.
It's not an important game, I was just testing what self-empolyed was like. 

This glitch doesn't happen on any of my other saved games.

Glad you somehow "fixed" the problem, Hannah. Have you tried deleting the school via Edit Town and replacing it with new one? Or aging the Sim up? Adults still look like YAs, just a few wrinkles in addition.

Or maybe a simple resetsim would do it?

Re-setting the sim didn't work, nor her turning into an adult.

I've deleted the game now but both mother and daughter were straight A students.
