I'm not to sure, Simstar, but you could try putting your sim up against a white wall, pressing tab, then zooming in. Then press "C" to take the photo. I hope this helps!

Are you talking about getting an avatar like Pam's? What you do, is in CAS, you click the share button on the Sim you want a mug shot of. Then, in your Sims 3 launcher, click on the Uploads and you will see the Sim you uploaded. Check the Sim(s) you want in mugshot form, and select the "Upload" button. You should see it under your Studio. Right click the avatar (when you access the Sim exchange), and select "View Image." Then you copy the URL and then go back to the "PROFILE" section to access your profile, where you will find the section "Modify Profile." Under "Modify Profile" click "Forum Profile Information" and select the option "I have my own pic." Then you paste the URL to your avatar/mugshot photo, and click "Change Profile."
