The Sims on Facebook are running a New Year's screenshot competition where you could win items on your wishlist up to the value of 10000 SimPoints
If you have a Facebook account and want to enter, you'll have to hurry though as it finishes on Dec 25th

Head to The Sims 3 Store to download and install the Free* Happy New Year 2012!!! set. Add the items to your game and take a screenshot of your Sim completing a New Year’s Resolution. Make sure that the items can be seen in the screenshot!
