I am not sure where that star quality came in.  I can't remember whether I picked that one or not.  I love to see what these guys will paint.  I also get level 10 painters the drafting table and have them do sketches.  That is different from the painting, but not as prosperous, but they come up with different sketches to decorate their home. :)

Yes she is a grumpy sim. She has done well so far though and has painted lots of new ones I have not seen before.

Sorry if this has been posted already, or if it should be in a different thread...

Have you noticed? The masterpieces and brilliant paintings are the same each time! E.g. In my dynasty, Sound (tribute to the Mans right there) painted a medium picture. It was of a female pirate against a black Background. This is a masterpiece (?) painting, and always will be.

Masterpiece paintings will always be the same, but pretty much any other painting can be brilliant.

These just gave me the biggest laugh. They are portraits of Dina painted by Nina. I had her paint two just to be sure the first wasn't a fluke. Shes now a level 8 painter :D

Those paintings are awesome. I love the squiggly mouth on the bottom. Why do portraits never look like the real thing? They're either the wrong colour or distorted somehow.

My sim painted a really clear one last night. I'll upload a photo if I remember  :D
