Hey! That was a shock! The sudden ending... I love how you had everyone convinced you got Nameless from an older story! Sneaky...

I had everyone convinced that Nameless was from another story???  Me?  I was totally flabbergasted when people started saying they knew who Nameless was!  Honestly, I never expected that at all.  :P

As for the sudden ending - well, it just seemed to me to be the right time for the story to end.  I don't like long drawn-out stories in which not much is going on.  I've read a lot of books that in my opinion would have been much better if they'd been half as long.  That's just me, of course.  But the mission was over, so I thought it was time for the characters to get back to everyday life.

It was a wonderful, exciting story and I looked every day for the new installments.  I look at the site most days but very seldom read the stories because it's hard to keep the continuity going with all the comments.  I hope you are pursuing your writing in other areas as well.

It probably had something to do with the mention of being a Dynasty boy.

I actually forgot about that bit of information, lol

I am blown away at receiving the extra-special thanks! I never thought of it that way--that my incessant fangirling of Goodwin would lead to him having such a big part in the story--but I'm so glad it did. It was nice to see him settle down with Holly. I was rooting for Nameless and Mary the whole time so it fit well from my perspective. The grown-up faeboos (faeboo and nooboo?) were just lovely, and so was seeing Ashynna. I did think Nameless was someone specific, but from an artist's standpoint I understand your choice to leave him nameless. What name could live up to such a story? I predict future references to brave Nameless of MHU fame will confuse forum nooboos for a long time to come. :)

Plus, was there never any pictures of him from the time he was married/before, or were they all destroyed?

I'm glad, too, Rosa!  One of the things I liked best about working on this story was the way it turned into a sort of collaboration between readers and writer.  So many things about the story were inspired by comments left by readers.  I never expected that but I think it helped to keep things interesting.

Plus, was there never any pictures of him from the time he was married/before, or were they all destroyed?

Only the few pictures I shared at the beginning of the story.  I think Mr Payne must have had all the others destroyed.  ;)

Thank you very much, Louise.  I always enjoy reading your insightful comments.  It is an honour to have a reader like you.  :D

I did think it was Leo, but I'm not disappointed that it wasn't. Nameless has indeed become a name he can be proud to call himself.

I enjoyed this story immensely!

Thanks Shipp!

Bravo, Schipperke! How I love a happy ending  :).  I like the hidden implications of Mary becoming an elder with Nameless - fairies have significantly longer lifespans than normal Sims, so either she aged up to grow old with him or she'd already grown old and wise enough to know she was making the right choice when they married.

I did think it was Leo, but I'm not disappointed that it wasn't.

So did I! Then I reread The Flowers and it became clear that he wasn't and I was too embarrassed to even send Schip the PM of my guess.  :P

Lol Ausette, I think the same thing, but reread the story as well and realize it couldn't be Leo.

Ditto.  Would sombody please Gibb's slap than man?

I don't think I've heard this phrase before even though I know where it comes from (I think) but I *loved* it!! I laughed so hard reading this that it almost made me feel better about Nameless being so clueless. Part of me feels like he deserves to have Mary leave him but as that would also make her unhappy, I just can't bring myself to wish for that.
