Had to remove Origin from my computer, how do I update my game?

Basically all right there in the title. The Origin was causing my computer to crash, blue screen of death not shut everything off because it's so corrupted, so I uninstalled it about five days after I purchased the game. With the new patch out, I'd like to know how I can install it on my game without Origin. Sorry if it's a noob question but thanks to anyone who helps me out. I appreciate it.

Have you tried the latest version of Origin to see if it would still be giving you issues?   Otherwise, there's always the superpatch to see if that will help but I can't guarantee that it will work without origin.  SimsVIP.com has a link to the superpatch on her article about the patch.
