The background of the Sim world is complex and full of many different factions.  What do we know about how these factions work?  For some, the questions are never asked so the answers are never needed.  For a few others, the answers just never come.   For very few, the answers aren't what they had hoped they were.  Is any of it real?  Is any of it not real?

One girl is out to get revenge while the other is just trying to get home.  Stakes are high when people's lives are on the line and of course the gentleman in the black robes are always willing to take your bets.  What challenges are in store for the contestants?  Who will come out ahead?  What's the origin clause?  We don't know either but that's half the fun!  Two sides battle it out and the rest of Simverse gets to hang in the balance.  Welcome to The Life States Dynasty Race!

• Seasons: 10 days each for Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter
• Lunar Cycle: 10 days full cycle - All Files Started on Full Moon
• Allowed Weather: Rain, Snow, Fog & Hail
• Population Controls: No Pets, No Horses, No Celebrities - Everything else allowed
• Memories: Disabled Forever

Extra Restrictions Due to Insane Player

• Christopher Steel, Agnes Crumplebottom, Billy Caspian and Jon Lessen are all off the spouse lists until Generation 3.  If they are still around, they deserve to join.
• Even though Addy's file is not official. 
• Toddlers have to be BFs with both parents, have learned all training and at least one skill with 3 points before aging up.
• Children have to get an A in school without tutoring
• Teenagers have to go to prom, get an A and reach level 5 in a skill they didn't learn as a toddler

   I should probably start this with an introduction.  I've never done this before and it's not like my mother is available for pointers.  She was the writer of the family, you know.  My name is Adrasteia.   Although most people who know me just call me Addy.  I was born as the eighth generation of an immortal dynasty.   An immortal dynasty that at first started as a punishment for my out of control Great Great Great Great Great Grandfather Artie.  There's more to that story though and I'm not sure I understand it all either.  He was halfway done when technicalities caused him to fail.   

   When The Boss went to give him a second chance at it, he made the bad decision of opening his ever-yapping jaw and it landed him and his family in deep doo-doo.  WIth Agnes and the others under The Boss's control, he had no choice but to start again.   This time he didn't just have a watcher constantly telling him to do but my dear Mr Bigglesworth also joined him for the first time.   Between the two of them, they helped him toe the line.  His insanity becoming worse than ever with all that fresh air and the thought of his last wife and his baby girl at the hands of his employer.  Another issue came about with Mr Bigglesworth and his demonic spawn which caused yet another failure for G5 Gramps.  This time he opened his mouth again when summoned.  You'd think he would have learned the first time.   

   That's how he ended up on my former home, Lunar Lakes.  His watcher and Mr Bigglesworth once again found him.  Only this time he was somewhat well behaved and everything actually came to fruition.  Our family made it eight generations and the night I tasted ambrosia for the first time, we all went our separate ways. 

   There were forces behind our success though.  It wasn't easy or smooth.  The factions that make up the Simverse's working force were having a bit of a tiff with one another.  There's always someone who wants more power isn't there?  One such faction had chosen to try and infiltrate our family.  They sent pawns to each of us children that had been born.  It was my Grandfather Aker who helped them cross that line.  As a child, his best friend in the world told him that she needed a special potion.  He found one and gave it to her without a second thought.  She became one of us, no longer imaginary.

   A fatal sculpting accident ended her life prematurely.  That's the nice way of saying her butt caught on fire and she forgot to go dip it in water.  She went into the netherworld with a huge chip on her shoulder.  While one faction fought to keep her out of the  bloodlines, her faction fought to get control over us.  She forgot all the bonding and the love that had been shared within the house.  It caused her to hate and accuse.  Especially when Grandfather met someone else and fell in love with her, too. 

   That's the quick and probably way too elegant synopsis of how all this began.  Reka's hatred caused her to give her makers access to things they shouldn't have had access to.  They took the Grim Family's watcher and made her one of us.  They made her my mother.   

   Quite the heritage I have.  In case you hadn't picked it up, I'm the daughter of a watcher turned Sim. Let's not forget my troublesome ancestor the Reaper.  Oh and did I forget to mention my father, the witch?  Then at the end of my last life I made a deal with the magical to save the dynasty from the ruin I was causing in exchange for a new life.  A new life that I'm starting right now with my Gilberto but a life I'm going to live well.   Even if I do have to keep tabs on my trapped mother and my evil step grandmother.   Oh well it looks like the magical portal has finally found it's destination.


Gilberto: "That red winged giant glowbug said she should be arriving at any moment.  Where is she?"


Adrasteia: "Ugh.  Falling out of that thing is never easy.  Now where in Tink's little pink castle am I?"
Gilberto: "Addy!"


Adrasteia: "There you are."
Gilberto: "I was just thinking the same thing.   I heard the news."
Adrasteia: "No.  I want an hour of time where we're not talking about any of them."


Gilberto: "I... uh.. I missed you a lot."
Adrasteia: "I missed you, too.  I like the new haircut."
Gilberto: "I like the new wings."
Adrasteia: "Wait.. what new wings?" -twirls in a circle- "Holy Watcher.. I have wings!"


Gilberto: "So you can fly now without a broom."
Adrasteia: "What about you? I don't see wings on your back."
Gilberto: "I haven't made up my mind yet.  I just wanted to see you again."


Adrasteia: "Oh Gillyweed.   It's so nice to see you, too."
Gilberto: "I got us set up with a house.  One of the guys in black showed up with the deed to it.  He said that it would be perfect.  It's a little modern for my tastes but I figure between the two of us, we can make it suit."
Adrasteia: "Oh that reminds me.  I want to do something."
Gilberto: "What?"


Adrasteia: "Something I wish I could have done back on Lunar Lakes.  Gilberto Mercer.. Will you do me the honor of becoming Gilly Grim?"
Gilberto: "Oh!  Addy!  I'm supposed to ask you."
Adrasteia: "Is that a no?"
Gilberto: "No. That's a 'I can't believe you beat me to it.' Of course I'm going to say yes."
Adrasteia: "Good now I'm ready to go see our new home."


Adrasteia: "Oh man..  Artie is going to be so mad."

Yes I'm doing two.   While I'm calling it the race for now, it's more so I could follow through on at least one of my ideas.  This way when I get frustrated/bored with one file - I can play another and still be doing the same story for you guys.

OMG! I can't wait to see how this goes down. I've not really been one to keep a watch on the life states dynasties, but I will be keeping an eye on this one.
