The next few days with Ivory were a little uneventful with most of every day spent at school.

With her new age, Ivory decided that she is too old for teddy bears and will not play with them any longer.......but she will keep hers with her for that nice moodlet at bedtime.

And along with Ivory growing up, Leo has been making progress. He easily reached level three in his pegbox skill and quickly picked up the skills of walking, talking, and using the potty. Three days after Ivory's birthday, it's time for Leo to age up.

To go with his initial traits of "Genius" and "Good", Leo's great toddlerhood allowed him to pick up the "Lucky" trait. Here's the outfits I picked for him, along with his bedroom set-up:

Leo didn't have a birthday party, just a cake with the household. The next day was SUPPOSED to be Leisure Day, so the next morning, the kids got to wake up a little later and Jersey started calling up some friends for a super awesome pool party.

However, either I misunderstood the red circled Thursday on my Sims' work and school schedules or the game derped, and the school bus came to pick up the rushing kids for school.

Oh well. At least Lucinda and Jersey still got to party. With both kids in school, it's nice to have some grown-up time. And the party turned out great!

Leo and Ivory came home pretty peeved that their parents threw a party while they were gone. They were even more peeved that they had to do their homework before they could join the merriment, and without their parents' help. I'm sorry, guys!! I honestly thought it was Leisure Day!

Unfortunately, the kids took too long with their homework to get a chance to really party, but they did get to have the tofu dogs Lucinda made, right off the grill, and then it was off to bed with them.
Well, if it makes the kids feel any better, the next day was Friday, which means they'd have the weekend to relax. Also, that Friday was not spent by the parents partying, but working.

Yes, even Jersey.

And after school, Leo got the chance to go home with cousin Jonathan to the 2nd generation house, where he spent hours playing with Jonathan and his doll, Lulu, without ever being served lunch or dinner. Good thing he always has some fruit to carry around as snacks with all of the produce Lucinda gathers.

On the other hand, Ivory went directly home to paint, and gave her work of art to her father.

He proudly hung it up in his room, right next to his and Lucinda's bed. It doesn't match the orange-toned room, but who care about that when your daughter is an artist?

Now, without a nice place conclude this part of the story without over-extending it, let's end with this picture of Jersey and one of his nephews "gossiping". I think they're plotting something.

That was at the false-Leisure Day pool party. Both Pogo and Archer's sons wore muscle-man shirts to the pool.
