Dr Pepper codes...did you find them?

Hmm...wonder if I can sweet talk a friend that love Dr. P into giving me any codes he finds.  And to be a good boy, I'll just leave it at saying sweet talk.

I did that quite often during the last promo.  I remember I was at the Vet's office and the receptionist was drinking a Dr. Pepper, I asked for her cap.  She laughed but handed it over.  I got them where ever I could.  I ended up with quite a few extras.  Hopefully I will again this time too.

Isn't there a plant in Texas that uses real sugar cane for Dr. Pepper or something.  I have a friend who lives near there that was telling me about it.

Of course Dr Pepper comes out with a new promo at the same time I'm supposed to give up soda >.> I really really love Dr Pepper over all others.  I think it's a you like it or hate it kind of drink.

Guess I'll be buying more Dr.Pepper in Detroit. Not Diet though, because Diet Pop in general is nasty.

I found the new items from Dr. Pepper.  They carry the 'Alice in Wonderland' theme.  And you can still pick the items you want like the last time. 

The DP website is still showing some of the past items so I don't know if they are still available or not.  This promotion says it runs through 12/31/2011. 

Again the site says it is available in 49 States (excluding Maine) and DC: Entrants must be at least 13 or older at time of participation.

Anyway, do I need to immigrade to participate as I've read only things about states, and here in Europe it's hard searching to find one.

Lol, alcohol wouldn't help me much either.  I can count on one hand (with fingers left over) the number of times I've drank in the past decade.  Nectar...sure!

While I tend to drink home brewed iced tea almost exclusively, I will drink Pepsi or Coca-Cola if the opportunity presents itself.  I'd drink Sprite, 7-Up, and I would even tolerate (shudders) Mountain Dew for a few Sim Points.  But I think I'd much rather drink bleach than Dr. Pepper.

I laughed quite hard at that.  I personally love Dr. Pepper Cherry, I don't think I would ever drink bleach, my cat on the other hand is addicted to it.    I keep checking the store but so far the only promotion they have is Thor still.  I am patiently waiting...

Do we know when they will actually start? I keep getting overly excited, waiting for that one bottle from the vending machine in Package Pickup (from my real life job), and all I get is that World of Warcraft Game Promo instead. 

I think Mountain Dew is a much better pop to promote this event. Mountain Dew is my favorite pop ever, and I'm more prone to choosing it over Dr.Pepper.

I just looked on the Dr. Pepper website and it says that the codes will be available under the bottle caps from January 4, 2011 through March 31, 2011 and from July 1, 2011 through December 30, 2011 in participating markets.  Looks like we all have to wait until July - bummer.  

I used to drink Dr. Pepper all of the time then switched to diet DP and finally caffeine-free diet DP.  Now I drink water because carbonation and my system don't get along .  I don't think my system would like bleach either - lol!

I am going to have my son save his caps as he still drinks DP, so hopefully I can get a few of these items.

I've already started interrogating my circle of friends, looking for someone who drinks Dr. Pepper but doesn't play the Sims.  The latter part is easy, but the former is not looking good at all.

Bleach would likely not do well in my system, either.  On the bright side:  I have a lot of choices before I get to that point.

I went onto the Dr. Pepper site tonight and they have all the items available from the previous promotion plus 11 new items.  So if you missed out on the ice chest or the cool cars, as long as you get a code, you can own them.

I'm about ready to start sending self-addressed stamped envelopes to Dr. Pepper for free codes, because some of the stuff is really cool.

(Looking at the rules, it sounds like codes from the last go-round are still valid, too. Congrats to any of you pack rats, I guess?)

I've found some but only at one grocery store called Safeway. Everywhere else seems to the Thor stuff or nothing at all, like you're finding where you live. And yes, the codes from last time are still valid. I missed out on all those because I didn't pay well enough attention to which games were included, lots of bottle caps tossed out unfortunately.
