How can I move my horse to compete in horse race?

I just want to move horse from one island to another...how do I do it?

The only two things I could think of is put him on a houseboat, a big flat one with maybe a horse stall on it and move that way, or teleport him using testingcheats.

I think the only way to do it is TestingCheatsEnabled True cheat.  Have your horse selected and shift+click the ground where you want the horse to be and Teleport.

Won't a horse be ferried via a taxi from island to island, assuming they are with the rider?
