Is there an easy solution, after you have created your world, moved it to the sims 3, and want to populate it quickly with your own sims?

Well, for specific sims there is the Porter mod by Twallan (

). I wouldn't call it easy, but if done right, you can keep relationships and such through various households. But if you just want generic sims you could let his story progression mod handle the immigration.
