Better Luck With Bad Apples

I noticed a couple of comments on the Sharpe Dynasty thread asking how to complete the Bad Apples opportunity and thought I'd share my idea.

Just to see what would happen, I sent one of my Sims on a catacombs trip or two.  One of the things she found was an apple seed.  When it grew to a tree, it was Horrifying quality and produced low-quality apples, many of them Bad or worse.  I still have them in the fridge (I'm glad only prepared dishes spoil!) and will use ten of the worst if I get the opportunity in the future.

Thanks for sharing your information.  But the challenge says to plant the seed you are given and grow the bad apples.  We've had some cheats and work arounds, but what we really need is to find a way to complete the opportunity within its boundaries.  Any other opportunity is fairly simple to accomplish and is straightforward with the results.  This one has stumped everyone.
