On the night we got my sim pregnant, the husband was abducted and became Alien pregnant.  Here they are, pregnant together.

@gaiajuliacaesar The concept of pregnant males is so unflattering. I keep getting images of Arnold Schwarzenegger... Anyway, hope it went well.

This screenshot is from my current game with Don Lothario. He and Clara Bjergsen have two twin sons and are expecting once again. She divorced Bjorn, but he still lives there as well as their two daughters. Don stays over often, but lives alone otherwise. In this particular picture, he failed to give poor Clara a decent massage; she is highly uncomfortable due to nausea and what not. Knowing what guys sometimes have to put up with, I feel Don would entitle this screenshot 'The day I couldn't do anything right'.  ;D 8)

Note for future reference: These two make ugly kids together, IMO.

Back in mid-2015 I gathered up all my saves files at the time into one zip file with the intention of going back to them in the future. This is the future. This file in fact was my first legacy attempt ever. I remember building the original house from nothing. I have the gravestones of the founder and her husband in the garden. And I remember thinking then how awesome my house was - truly I was thrilled to bits with it! - but now it looks rubbish and in need a lot of help.

Patching up the existing house was an option, but given the floorplan it was hard to put in a pool or basement, and the rocket was standing just... there... on the grass... without being planned for. So a new house was needed. It's really interesting to go back to an early save and see the mistakes and general lack of optimization and fix that. No pollinator. That's a mistake.

So it's a glorified L-shape.

What an unbelievably beautiful house!
Thank Carl my legacy sims can't see this post or they would be screaming bloody murder.

Seriously, I love the shape of the house, your choice of sidings, the mysterious roofing, that pond on the side, and spacious backyard patio.
Will you eventually also be sharing the interior of this remodeling of your first legacy house in a thread of your own?
My second question: May I ask why you would use a pollinator for a legacy when you can download #legacyloves? (This a question from someone unfamiliar with TS3 repopulation statistics)

Because it long ago stopped being a proper legacy, and now there's much fun trying to preserve the remaining bloodlines. That's why the pollinator. It's sad when there are no more Goths or Munches. :) Also, when the second gen spouse got to elder, I thought, "but I'm not having this, she's too awesome" and reset her to YA. So it's not longer a legacy or anything official.

The colours of everything have changed so many times. Then I think, "Yeah, nice", and take a bunch of screenshots. Then I think a window isn't quite right, the railing shouldn't be such a pale colour, the roof trim must be more dominant, etc. Then I take more screenshots, and so it goes. The interior has its charms. Obviously the dining room (with two fireplaces, because reasons) is beyond all other dining rooms I've made, and nothing else is quite as spectacular. I think you'd be expecting something equally wow, and find it to be rather normal. A thread for this would be too much! But the attics do have kids bedrooms. (Twin girls at the mo - Raquel and Kimberly.) The kitchen is okay, but needs work. Something isn't quite right with it. Part of the problem is the maximum-height walls on the ground floor. They make an average size room look too tall and narrow.

Well, here's the lounge. The kids' drawing table shouldn't really be there, but there isn't room in the makeshift studio, and in time there'll be some +inspiration from mixology career rewards and the piano.

I assume you call it a lounge because you have a formal living room somewhere else?
The combination of pink, dark red, and earth tones is lovely. Thank you for sharing!

:) The feeling is mutual. A few days ago after reading your legacy, I shamelessly copied Maki's post-makeover look. True story.

No, there's no grander living room somewhere else. It is quite formal, true. But far short of a gold-trimmed, wood paneled, mirrors-and-paintings, bonnets and ruffles Jane Austen drawing room. It's the cheap fireplace too (!), re-used from the original house where it was in a bedroom. So it might morph into something grander. The basement (DJ booth, karaoke) that leads to the rocket launch pad has a white+purple color scheme which I like. If I redo the lounge into a formal living room, I'll post a pic. :)

Oh no, I didn't at mean to suggest that the lounge wasn't fabulous enough. I got confused because you called it a lounge rather than a living room, thinking it implied the presence of a living room as well. Your lounge is already far, far grander than anything my sims have ever experienced, lol. I confess that I can't even do curtains well.

Anyway, I always enjoy seeing your builds. You always do such amazing exteriors, too. I'm jealous!  :D

P.S. Maki thanks you for the compliment!

Hi everyone...
Great pictures! I know it's been forever since I've posted in this thread; however, I had to share my excitement with a few shots of my first TS4 toddlers...  ;D

Landon's playing around with his big brother, Ronnie.

Mom scolding Landon for flipping his food onto the floor on purpose. (I love that uh oh look on his face!)

Landon and his twin sister, Kaylee, share a hug.

Colin babbling to his dad, Theo, instead of quietly watching tv.

Being picked up and pampered by his other dad, Gale.

And finally, here he is looking less than thrilled with his big brother, Tobias', hug attempt.

@Jase~ Wonderful screenshots! The new play interaction with toddlers are very sweet. Ronnie and Gale are eye candy ::) I find that a lot of TS4 males look terrible, so they stand out ;D

@Nindigo  Thanks, for the kind words! :)  I really can't take credit for Ronnie's appearance though, he's what the game made with Mom and Dad's genetics. But I did change his clothes and hairstyle to something that looked much better than the randomness he received when he aged up.

@Jase~ I'm guessing Ronnie is a combination of Summer Holiday and Travis Scott? I really must see what my game can do with those two! ;D *runs off to experiment*

@Nindigo   Ronnie's parents are actually sims that I created myself; however, I believe that I just used some of the default faces in CAS. Here's what the parents look like...

I've had extremely great luck with good looking kids when I use that male default face for the dad. :)

Oh my, Clara finally said 'yips'! That was Don's 3rd or 4th proposal :o Understandably, he looks like a very happy and relieved man ;D  She has been very hard to catch despite being the mother of their two boys. She's a perfectionist alright, and today was apparently perfect :)

Took a break from the safety of premade Sims and created one. She is pregnant though it's hard to tell. Normally, I don't create Sims. It takes me forever and I'm rarely satisfied with the result. But I'm a little proud of this Sim. Mind you, I've been editing her every 30 minutes or so since her creation. It's a pain to be so indecisive. Nothing short of perfect will do. At least that is my natural inclination - it's a constant battle, I tell you ::)

@oshizu Thank you. She is more an experiment than anything else. I just want to see how all this new vampire stuff works. The father of the child is Caleb, but she's not a vampire herself. Yet. She lives in Forgotten Hollow, is a botanist and an expert on vampiric lore, so far :) I might have to upload her, since I get regular bad cases of delete :-\

Revelation! To a vampire, plasma tastes like coffee. No wonder they are so hooked on it. The world's coffee drinkers (yours truly included) already know of its divine flavors and powers. Conclusion: Coffee must be key to immortality. 8)
