Teen Mess Around is the same as y/a(and up) Woohoo the the Stats?

is the teen Mess Around interaction the same as woohoo? how do you explain it in your gameplay?

I would assume from the game creator and rating it's just under the covers over the clothes kind of thing.

however, teen Mess Around is counted in stats as woohoo by the way.

I'm also told that a teen couple who have messed around then age up to y/a and woohoo will not get the First woohoo purple notification. so is it woohoo or not?
