Since this is the introduction thread I might just as well say it:

I'm now 18! *Hold for the enormous storm of applause probably building up*
So, now I'm an adult... What's next? :)

Metro, such easy phrases are practically in any website-dictionary. ::)
If you need to know, it literally meant "thanks very much Margerita".

No, Swede, I don't need to know. If I honestly wanted to know I would have looked it up. "What you talkin' about Willis?" is a well-known reference to an old sitcom. Some people probably got it. You didn't. :)

I actually guessed so much that it was some "obscure quote" as LG put it, but I thought it still worthy of a reply! :D
It was technically a question you know!

Hi Everybody!  I've only been playing Sims for about six months or so.  I play Sims3 and have both World Adv and High Loft-End Stuff.  I love the game and have been lurking here just about ever since I started playing and FINALLY registered today.

As I said in another thread, I like the 'feel' of this forum better than the one on the main site.  It's has a more casual feel to it and seems more accessible.

I am self-employed and work at home on my computer all day so, when things slow down, I have more of an opportunity to play a little bit and, at least, peruse the forums.

Nice to be here and I'm looking forward to getting to know you!

Thanks for the welcome samoht04 and the link Pam! (http://www.carls-sims-3-forum.com/index.php/topic,811.15.html)

HI ALL! (yes I know it's bland but my awesomely hilarious nickname makes up for it ;D )

Just got Sims 3 a day or two ago and I'm loving it so much. Have a bunch of the sims 2 and all the sims 1 expansions, so I thought that I'd do well and with ease in the new "probably-only-different-by-having-more-stuff- sims game".....BOY WAS I WRONG!!!

The new game is incredibly different in general principles than I'm used to, but in a good way for sure.

Can't wait to get cracking at all these great things I've read about on this forum and walkthrough thingy(?) in my own game! I have only really tried out all the skills and visited the other countries, besides that I'm an utter newbie. Great to be here!

Hi everyone,
I came across this site when I was desperately trying to locate what collection bits I had missing for WA, and avoiding paying £10 for the Prima guide. I liked the feel of the site so actually posted my question - I have never posted on a forum before! Plus, I found a tomb which (from my quick peek in the GAME store) isn't in the Prima guide so no way I am paying out for it now!
I am from the North-West of England, I live near Liverpool & I work in the city-centre - not too far from a certain Mathew Street.
I have played Sims since day one - blimey, did that original game have some bugs in! D'you remember, you had to install your expansions in a certain order, if you didn't the game just would not run & you had to un-install everything & put them all back on again in the right order?
I've always felt slightly guilty that I never really progressed far in Sims 1 or 2, I probably missed an awful lot, but I used to be addicted to building houses, and my sims were mainly just used to populate the houses and wander round the shops etc I'd built! I hardly ever raised a family, and the career progression used to annoy me so my sims were kept afloat by liberal use of a certain money cheat...!
Sims 3 has changed all this, I actually only got it 2 months ago (I do tend to wait a bit with Sims, let them iron out a few more bugs before I buy as Sims 1 was so horrendous, but this time I was waiting to get my own computer!) and I am obsessed all over again - but I haven't built a house yet! I love the gameplay, WA is the best EP EVER, and I am officially addicted to collecting. I also love being able to change the colour of everything, so it is all co-ordinated!
Apart from Sims 3, I spend most of my free-time being bossed around by my evil-genius of a cat, Izzy.
Err, sorry, I don't know how to be short & sweet, but you guys are all really friendly, thanks for helping me!I'm sticking around to see what more I can find out! (current obsession - the skull-cut gemstones - how cool!)
