Hey yall. My ame is Shani. I'm 21 years old, I'm from NYC. I'm a Sims Fan. I'm a nice person. I have the Sims 3 and haven't been able to play yet due to my PC memory Card. I bought a new PC and am waiting for it to delivere now so I can play. I'm just trying to learn about it and hearing when you first start can be really difficult.

I actually joined about a week ago, but I just saw this thread ;D
My name is Tommy, I'm 26 and live in California where I work as an EMT.  I've been actively simming since back in 1990 when I was playing Sim Earth on a black and white Macintosh my dad borrowed from work.  I've 'powergamed' through many aspects of Sims 3 and now I'm taking a more leisurely stroll through the game, trying out challenges, and creating some awesome architecture.  That being said I do have a rather extensive knowledge base of the game and I'd be more than happy to help anyone with any questions about basically anything in the game.
Sim on!

Big Tommy, welcome! What the heck happened to the Bruce Campbell avatar? Mr. "Hail to the Chief, Baby" is now replaced by a lowly EMT avatar?  ;)  ;D

Pam, google "This is my boomstick" and see if you can find Campbell's speech from Army of Darkness. It's classic. Ranks up there with Bluto's "When the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor" speech in Animal House.

Found it. Took a little while.

Shop smart, shop S-Mart!  Oh man, how I love the classics  :D
As for my avatar, I'm trying to get psyched up for Ambitions!  And on that note, if you guys need anyone to write the walkthrough for the firefighter career I'd be happy to help.  I work closely with the fire department and I know what it's like to be at your favorite part in a movie, or almost done making dinner, then have to go out on a call; I might be able to provide a unique perspective.
