Back hurts when sitting for a long time - Need advice!

I like to play but when I sit for a long time my back hurts. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks.

Another long term solution is to work on strengthening your core using exercises like those in yoga. (Sit ups only build up your abs while there are many other muscles that stabilise your core and your back that are important to strengthen to reduce back pain.) Low back pain is often also caused by tight muscles in your gluteal area. (bottom) and you can stretch that area using stretches called "figure 4" or "pigeon pose" you can google them to get images and or videos. Or you can get a tennis ball place it on the ground, sit on it, and roll the muscle of your buttock over it until you get to a painful area, stay there until the tension releases then keep going.

I trained in massage therapy and kinesiology this is the advice I would give to a patient so I hope you find it helpful
