Are All Sinks the Same

The age old problem of dishes being washed bathroom sinks instead of  the kitchen. tried using MCCC tuner but is disables all objects. maybe I am using the tuner incorrectly.

has any one found a fix to this annoying problem?

Are some sinks kitchen objects and others bathroom objects? 

is there a way to get them to use the dishwasher or am I just wasting money by placing dishwashers?

My sims ALWAYS use the dishwasher.  As long as it isn't already running, after someone else put one plate in and started it.  Make sure there isn't something wonky about where you put it?
