It was a handle. ;)
Velmoor loves his holes but doesn't like filling them!

Thank you Gogowars, well, more precisely, he loves adventures, and doesn't care for tedious make busy shovel work  ;)

RIP Malcolm! Apparently, he didn't show up to the last clinic..

Thank you TallStar, yeah, he actually passed away the day before Lynnore was born, but I didn't have any photos of it, so I didn't mention it. He's one of the coolest ghosts in the graveyard now though.

Awesome update! A paparazzi death trap. Wow that just filled my head with a lot of awesome ideas!  ;D I mix up names too, reading so many stories, than playing your own kind of makes your head spin haha, but I wouldn't trade it for anything!  ;D Sashyna really told that pap off! Poor Quain. Hugs from me! Oh and speaking of ME, arguing with yourself is really funny! I love the way you can make me laugh!  R.I.P. Malcolm how dare you not reproduce.  :'(

Thank you Esther, have fun annihilating any paparazzi foolish enough to enter your property ;) The ease of mixing up names is why I put them before every line of dialog, it really makes keeping things straight easier, sometimes on some stories I have to go back through 2-9 pages to find out who the current narrator is, but that's OK with me. Yeah, naughty Malcolm, not giving ME Simbot Hybrids, at some point after the dynasty is over I may just use everyone's extra LTHP to buy a million of them, and see if that helps LOL.

Nyarah: Look little girl, daddy's making drinks, when you get older you can have some too, but not yet, no no no!
Lynnore: Want, want now!
Miguel: The fastest way to get a toddler to want something is to say they can't have it, haven't you caught on to that yet?
Nyarah: Well, what am I supposed to say, go ahead and drink up?
Miguel: No, that probably wouldn't work either.
Lynnore: Want, want, want.

Velmoor: See, it's the sequential application of force to pressure points that allows Poke-emia to produce the results it does.
Patient: Thank you doctor, I feel so healthy now.
Bystander: I'm far from convinced, I'm guessing it's merely the power of suggestion.

Velmoor (1): Well, there's more than one way to skin a cat, or treat one for diseases as the case might be, here's some more traditional medicine for you.
Velmoor (2): Just concentrate on the pen ma'am, no of course I'm not going to kick you, why would you think that? *Kick!*

ME: Sashyna went to the Thursday movie screening, the whole family gets in for free because they own the place. I didn't tell her what to do next, so she chose to read a book on site. This is probably my favorite rabbit hole because it just looks so odd having a bunch of different sets around.

Miguel: I've made it to the point in my career when I get my own squad car, this is so cool! Talk about job perks! It even has a siren woo!

Velmoor: Another day, another chance to kick Ted Grim's bottom, I can't wait to find that guy!
ME: So... what's all those files for?
Velmoor: Those? They're a different project, I have plans, so many plans, and promises to keep.

Mackenzie Sleep (Internal Monologue): They're such a nice family, I bet they all gather by the fireplace and talk about their day, I wonder if I could get a picture of that.
ME: So far Mackenzie has been a nice paparazzi, she doesn't peer through windows or break into my house to take pictures of my napping Sims at least.

Miguel: Good job sweetie, you read a whole page by yourself, I'm so proud of you, my little humming bird.
Lynnore: The Cat balanced a fish in a bowl, can I do that daddy?
Miguel: No, you leave Quain's fish alone, those are important to him.

Next Time: Lynnore is having a birthday party, time to break out the party hats!

Lynn is such a smart toddler! I was a little surprised Miguel couldn't mix her some alcohol-free apple cider though.

I love, love, love Velmoor and his kicks! :D Good, Mackenzie, good!

Awesome updates, Juxt!

Thank you Chronic, I'm sad Malcolm died without giving me hybrids, shame on him! He still gets a spot near the family plot though. Lynnore grow up as in get taller, definitely, as in acting like an adult, umm, maybe?

Great update, as usual :)
I was wondering how you chose the names of your sims? Or are they just name's that you've picked at random?

Thank you Alexandria, the family name is based off an online game I play, the names are all of characters I, or my boyfriend play on that game, many of the names were also used playing role playing games not online.
Sashyna: Bard                Draigoth: Wizard                Aeluna: Bard/Rogue                Velmoor: Rogue                Quain: Monk                Nyarah: Cleric                Lynnore: Rogue/Fighter.  So I did make them up randomly at one point, but in my own mind, and long ago.

I have the sneaky feeling Lynnore is, or will be, a bit of a handful...

Thank you Cathyknits, she moves around a lot, and occasionally her actions move just a bit faster than her thoughts.  She may indeed be a bit of a handful, but the family adores her.

Great update Juxt!  RIP Malcolm from the previous post.
Congrats to Miguel on his promotion and new car!
Also - I can't believe how many holes Sashyna has dug up!
I do really enjoy all moments with Velmoor including his rooms!

Thank you Ricalynn, Sashyna spends nearly every night digging up holes on the non-purchasable park down the road.  Early on I figured, well, if I can't have it, I'll make sure no one would want it, swiss cheese time! I really like my police car, sometimes I follow him around turning on and off the siren as he drives, it was fun.

Lynn is such a smart toddler! I was a little surprised Miguel couldn't mix her some alcohol-free apple cider though.

And Velmoor has to clean up his room!

Thank you Phyre, Velmoor can clean, that's news to me LOL I was surprised there's nothing you can make from the mixology bar that could be given to toddler or children myself, one would think they could make some cool juice to put in a bottle, but EA makes those decision, not I  ;)

Velmoor: So, now you're a bouncer at Banzai Lounge huh? Didn't Mackenzie start out here?
Morris Sleep: Yes sir she did, enjoy your time visiting this establishment.
Velmoor: Does this mean after a long series of job transfers you to will be a paparazzi camped out on our doorstep?
Morris: I certainly hope not sir.
Velmoor: That's good to hear, have a good night Morris.
Morris: You too sir.

Quain: I remember taking Susie here for our first date, it seems like so long ago, could we have ever really been so young?
ME: Yes, you were young and in love, there are worse things to be.
Quain: Like old and alone for example.
ME: Well, if you want to get all specific about it, yes.

Sashyna (Internal Monologue): We're both so similar in personality, we may not look too much alike, but we are family for sure!
Nyarah (Internal Monologue): Wow, I can't believe that an old lady can still have so much party energy left in her, being an elder can't be so bad!

Nyarah: We are not sardines, stop packing in more of us and get this elevator moving already!
Quain: I don't know, it's not all bad I think.
ME: Hey, don't get too chummy with the pretty ladies there Quain.
Quain: Don't lecture me, I'm the finest lecturer in Bridgeport history! Just because Susie is the only woman I'll ever really love, doesn't mean I can't admire the scenery.
ME: Fair enough, just remember you belong to other... scenery, or something.

Nyarah: Come on big girl, blow out the candles, and then we'll have cake won't that be fun!
Lynnore: *blows out candles*
Family: Yay, happy birthday little Lynnore!

ME: Honestly, this party went horribly, I had a gig the same night, but of course it wasn't here, so most of the family left early trying to get to the gig, but I didn't make it in time, so it was a lame party, and a missed gig, *sigh* Major player error there.
Lynnore (2): Who cares about how the party went, I'm getting to swim for the first time, this is awesome! *Splash, splash*

Lynnore: What do you mean I have to have a new wardrobe, what's wrong with the one that I have now.
ME: It's random, and lame looking, now open the drawers, and let me do my thing!

ME: Here's Lynnore after I managed to keep her in one place long enough to dress her. Her favorite color is purple, just like ME!

Next Time: Lynnore is living large as a lively child!

I too loved the way you chose their names - so flawless.

Let's hope Morris stays a bouncer forever, lol. Poor Quain *sniff* Wait, he isn't poor - he is lucky - so many ladies! And Velmoor lol. ;D

Happy birthday Lynn! I love that girl already, also, her new wardrobe! That rainbow on her shirt is awesome, so is the update. :)

Happy Birthday Lynn! Her new wardrobe is adorable. I'm not a huge fan of that opaque violet, but it suits her really well! I especially love her sportswear; she does seem like the football girl type (or you guys call it soccer, don't you?)

Happy Birthday Lynnore!   Love the face she gave you when she was at the dresser!

Sorry to hear about your party/gig woes.  Awesome update!

Thank you Rica, that's the face she gave right before falling on her bottom too, it was pretty funny. The party gig foibles were my own fault, I should have paid more attention *sigh*

Happy birthday Lynnore. I hope Morris doesn't follow his sister's footsteps! Quain checking out the scenery is hilarious!  ;D Awesome update girl!

Thank you Esther, the last thing I need is the whole Sleep clan camped out in front of my house, smoldering and taking pictures LOL

Oh, I see. That's a pretty cool way to name them, and rather odd that the name Draigoth always reminded me of a Wizard :D
Happy birthday Lynnore! I like the purple on her.

Thank you Alexandria, I like Lynnore's clothes too, but I always like the clothes I make LOL Draigoth went from being a wizard of spells, to a wizard with paint  ;)

No more nooboo business Lynnore! It's time to be a good girl!
Love the family all in the elevator!

Thank you Gogowars, I'm sure she'll be very good, as long as she stops to think about what she's doing first, but what are the chances of that? Poor Sims, all crunched into the elevator LOL.

Thank you Chronic, the names continuing from somewhere else kind of gives me a starting place for how I want them to think and act, because I've already established them elsewhere, so it's certainly handy, and I like the names. Yeah, I'm sure the gents don't have much problem being squeezed into the elevator LOL

Happy Birthday Lynn! Her new wardrobe is adorable. I'm not a huge fan of that opaque violet, but it suits her really well! I especially love her sportswear; she does seem like the football girl type (or you guys call it soccer, don't you?)

Thank you Phyre, I was actually hoping I could change the flower color, but no such luck, it works well enough ;) I spent a lot of time getting her athletic wear just the way I wanted, gee, why would I do that? Yes, in America it's soccer, but football is better, makes more sense, our football isn't even played with one's feet except for kick off and field goals.

Lynnore: Yes! No more nursery for me, I get a big girl room now!
ME: Yes, and it's been recolored just for you, do you like it?
Lynnore: Definitely! Thank you!

Velmoor: Some members of the family will teach you to walk, talk, or to do your homework better, but I will teach you life's most valuable lesson, how to defy gravity and get away with it!
Lynnore: Wee! This is fun!

ME: Here is Lynnore burning off some of her boundless energy, she runs practically everywhere, and loves to get a bit of exercise in, even though she can't really benefit from it yet.

Nyarah: Tonight is the night, they're awarding the Simmy for best actress, some may arrive in evening wear, but I'm betting I'll catch more attention in my bathing suit.

Music: All you ladies clap your hands stomp your feet and grab your man. Lookout weekend cause here i come, Because weekends were made for fun! Okay men its your time show the ladies whats on your minds!
ME: Nothing better than two handsome hunks hitting the town!

Velmoor (1): And that's how you prove mathematically that your math teacher is wrong, homework done!
Lynnore (1): G Grandpa, what's wrong, you don't look like you normally do!
Velmoor (2): Oh dear, I seem to have entered a post mortem state, don't worry love.
Grim (2): Of course she should worry, I have come for you Velmoor!
Quain (2): Oh no! Quick, do something, do something!

Velmoor (1): Look what I have, a pretty flower, who wants a pretty flower, does Grim want a pretty flower?
Grim (1): Well, it is very pretty, can I have it?
Velmoor (2): Of course you can, if you give me my body back.
Grim (2): Very well, the flower is mine, give it here.

Grim (1): You think you're clever, calling me here and then getting your life back.
Velmoor (1): What can I say, I am a genius, and I am prepared for anything!
Velmoor (2): Woah, becoming corporeal really gives me a head rush.
Lynnore (2): I was so scared, don't do that again.
ME: It was pretty cool though, I guess I pushed feeding him his ambrosia just a bit to long LOL

Next Time: Reactions, rewards, and relaxation.

Thank you Chronic, that was one helpful flower, and a funny happening, the best part, I had fed him ambrosia, that very day, but I guess he was already slated to die of old age when I did, so he ended up dying of old age, with his age reset to the first day of elder LOL Lynnore is always around, of course you'll see more of her :)

Thank you MissMaths, everyone misses update, it's the way of the Internet. That dresser can be very stubborn, must be protesting it's overuse or something like that.

That was a little too close for comfort - although I suppose if anyone's going to, essentially, invite Grim over for a social call, it's going to be Velmoor.

Thank you Cathyknits, it was very appropriate that it was Velmoor, if any Sim could handle, or even enjoy, such a very near death encounter, it would be him.

Hahaha :D
That was one of the funniest things I've read on this forum!

Thank you Alexandria, that's a very nice thing to say, since as we all know, we have some first rate funny bone ticklers on this forum.

Awesome update! Velmoor just about made my heart stop!! I was like "no,please have a flower, yes!"  ;D I love those magical flowers!

Thank you Esther, this was the first time I used a death flower ever, and in my opinion, it was awesome! Grim looks so cute and possessive when he takes the flower, it totally makes me laugh!

Those comments made me laugh so hard!
Great update!

Thank you Gogowars, I'd been looking forward to that update all week! I'm glad I was able to pack in lots of funnies.

ME: So what did you think of being dead Velmoor?
Velmoor (1): What do you think I thought it was pretty scary!
Velmoor (2): Though Sinker brings up a good point, it did open up new vantage points of the Sim condition to me, for a moment, I thought I saw all the mortals of our family, then they smiled and waved goodbye, that was kind of nice. Wait, Sinker, you're talking to me now, finally!
ME: I didn't hear anything.
Velmoor (2): That must be because without lungs or a voice box his voice doesn't carry that far, I would think.

Velmoor (1): I was kind of hoping that would be Ted Grim, but it certainly wasn't, none of the right bone markers, I'm so going to choke Ted!
Velmoor (2): He's gonna cry out, "oh no, I'm so scared, someone is choking me!"
Velmoor (3): And after I scare him and beat him up, I'm sure I'll feel better about him ruining my granddaughter's wedding day.  Maybe I'll take pictures for her!

Lynnore: Fresh air, the wind whipping by, is there anything nicer than an afternoon bike ride? The answer is yes, being out of school for the day is even nicer than a bike ride, combine the two, and it's the best afternoon ever!

Lynnore: Now what am I going to do for my art history project? There must be something interesting about art that I can write about.
ME: It must be hard, sitting in Bridgeport's most extensive and expensive art history exhibit, trying to think about what to write about.
Lynnore: Yeah, why do I have to learn about art anyway? I've got it! Why Gym is Better than Art Class! That's my title, I can write about that!

Nyarah: Why yes, I'd love to pose for the camera!
Nyarah (Internal Monologue): For the hundredth thousandth time today, I just got home, I want a drink. *Sigh*
Paparazzi (Internal Monologue): Wow, that Nyarah De D'Onlyn, she's a class act, you can't catch her in a bad mood if you try!

ME: Nyarah's first two trophies, they're pretty cool! One of them is of course the coveted Simmy!

Nyarah & Miguel: *Smooches*
ME: Get a room you two!
Nyarah: This is our house, so we already have one, and we're all alone out here, so no, and go away!

Next Time: Adventures, emergencies, and vampires! Velmoor wants the spotlight!

Such luck that Grim was a closet Botanist. But don't you ever do that to us again!

I think the experienced affected him more than he realizes though - for a Genius he should know Sinker can't talk without either lungs or a voice box.

Awesome update! I agree, it's their house so if they wanna make out in the hot tub, let them! Haha. Velmoor (2): That must be because without lungs or a voice box his voice doesn't carry that far, I would think. That makes so much sense too!!

Thank you Esther, Velmoor makes the best kind of sense, insane sense! LOL Oh, they wanted to do more than make out in the hot tub  ;)

I loved the update, in fact, I loved each one so far! :D

Oh, Velmoor, you are such a sweet grandparent - it's been weeks since the incident and you still remember! Aww.

Haha, Lynn is one funny student, "Why is Gym better than Art Class" - hilarious! :D

Thank you Chronic, Grim ruined my wedding plans, I'm not going to forget that, so Velmoor can't either, I will have my revenge! Lynnore has a favorite class, sure hers is different than mine, but at least she's taking some interest in school.

Thank you Phyre, don't worry, Velmoor and all immortals come complete with the death flower, and I'll be watching the timing on my Ambrosia a little closer. He may be a genius, but he's an insane eccentric one, if you hear a voice, and it says it can speak, who are we to tell it no, right? LOL

Velmoor (1): It's time once again to jump into the bright shiny hole in the ground.
Two minutes later
Elissa Kinkaid (2): Oh no, I'm so unwell, is there a doctor about?!
Velmoor (2): Can't you people go to the hospital like everyone else, what makes this an emergency, huh?
Elsa (2): The sun is charing me, and my stomach feels terrible!

Velmoor: Well, I can never turn down a Sim in trouble, I'll use my scanner to see what the trouble is.
Elissa: Thank you doctor, you're very kind.

Velmoor: High-Yah, that kick will set your stomach right, now go home, eat two plasma fruit, and stay out of the sun you dingy vampire.
Bystanders: Oh no! How could you kick a nice vampire girl like that? You're so mean!
Elissa: Ow ow owee!

Velmoor (1): Now, back to what I was doing before I was so rudely interrupted!
Velmoor (2): Woah, I slipped, ME, can you give me a hand here?
ME: Sure *pushes Velmoor down hole*
Velmoor (2): That's not what I meant!
ME: Just be glad I didn't kick you like you did Elissa!

Miguel: It's not pretty work, but someone has to find out what's happening in Bridgeport, and that's my job!
ME: Eww, you must be, uh, very dedicated.

Velmoor: Is my hair messed up, everyone in that fire gnome village was laughing at me, I think they messed up my hair.
ME: Dude, look at yourself, they messed up more than your hair!

Velmoor: Oh Aunt Cylliah, I think I've found what I needed from your books, reading them reminds me how much I miss you though.  I hope you're happy with Jessica in awesome Sim afterlife, now that I've seen it in just a glimpse, I know how happy you all must be together.

Velmoor: Yes, I suppose you can take a picture of me for your article, it won't be anything mean will it?
Mackenzie Sleep: No of course not! It's an article about the medical treatments you've been pioneering lately, they're amazing!
Velmoor: The hospital is always bugging me about bringing in good press, so go ahead.
ME: She's not the most annoying paparazzi ever at least.

Next Time: Dancing, disguises, and disappointments.
