I'm annoyed by the fact, I am doing this special game, playing through generations with the heir bringing one of the townies back to life through "Oh my ghost" opportunity, then eating Ambrosia, and using young again potion. My recent one was Cornelia. She has 0 memories even though she lived out her entire life. It's very annoying, I know she has to remember stuff, but nope it's not there. Grrr.  >:(

Yeah, especially annoying with premade Elders. But I guess EA didn't know back then that they'll put the Memory system into TS3 too. As I said before, it's super annoying with our own Sims. Apple doesn't remember marrying Chris! >:(

When I was playing around with TS2 I noticed that Sims I just made had memories. I created a married couple for the game and they had memories like remembered first kiss with (sim name) or remembered wedding.  I guess TS3 is the new "improved" version.

I don't get memories for memorable events (like first child). Guess my sim developed Alzhiemers (spelling?).

Summer (in my signature.) ended her teen years with 132 memories. Alot for only 15 days.

My sim had already filled her book before hitting her adult years. "Wohoo with a Celebrity" has mostly filled it up. Can't be helped, they are both 5 star and can't stop flirting with each other. The kids almost starved to death!

I am sick and tired of most memories, actually. This is ridiculous. My Sim met her future husband, Gobias Koffi. Well, since he is a celebrity and a vampire in my game, it was normal that she got "met celebrity Gobias Koffi" and "met a vampire". One time is normal to me, I can take two times too. But, come on, is it really necessary for her to get the "met a vampire" memory after each kiss with him? I mean, she already knows him, right? It's been three days and she already has 25 memories, in addition.

I hear you Chronic! Get's to be a real pain. My only hope is that EA is monitoring sites like this and will tone down the memory nonsense. The best thing would be that you create your own memories. Such as, "first date with***", "first kiss with**", etc.

I just go tired of memories. Everytime my sim collected a rock or gem a memory would pop up. Eventually it gets annoying, so I feel for you Chronic!

Ever since Generations my game has taken forever to load - not the generations load to main menu, but loading a family - and I am wondering if all those memories might have something to do with it. I'm trying deleting all memories as I play, (I don't need/want them anyway), but maybe my computer is just tired from all these expansions.

I don't know if it's because I am using an upgraded SV 3.0 as my town... but my legacy weighs 100 Mb already! I mean, I have played only four days - this is ridiculous. Assuming both Sims only have around a dozen memories. I predict a 1 Gb file by the end... Oh. My. Gosh.

I loved memories at first, using their screenshots to write my own text. But then I got the "camera" bug, and then my Sim came back from a trip and couldn't interact with anyone in her family, and another Sim came back from a trip and found a clone. About that time, I read that the memories were causing files to get really big -- not just your Sims' memories, but the ones townies were getting. So I uninstalled and reinstalled without the patch (I would love to get Generations, but not until this bug has been fixed), and my Sims are able to travel again, knock on wood.

My sim is living with her sister. They are  both adults. Today, my sim asked his boyfriend to move in with her; this boyfriend has a teenage son who my sim or her sister have never met. Naturally, I had to move the son in aswell...
The sister got a memory of moving in together with this teenager, with a description something like "wanting to spend all time with this person" and a picture of hearts. Umm... eww. ???
