Chapter 1: The Fire

We were all waiting for Lunch. Sierra had just put the food into the oven.

We heard screaming. It was only a few minutes ago we last saw Sammi and she was fast asleep. I was off to go see what was wrong. Turns out, she just woke up but I saw something odd, a gap in the wall.

Then I smelled smoke. I ran to the kitchen and I saw a massive fire covering the kitchen doorway. Sierra and Chantrelle were trapped. Calvin had ran to get help but with all the tension (and him being a coward) he fainted outside the door.

I hear Gogo:
‘Error! Cor... grab Sam... and... to the... boatdock. Head...Barnacle...’
Gogo just stopped. I ran to grab Sammi out of her crib and noticed a laptop on the floor. It looked like it fell off the roof. I picked it up and the screen was covered in a bright red ERROR!
I put it away and grabbed Sammi and ran.

I saw Ditz looking around Calvin and called him. He started following me. I ran down to the pier as fast as I could.

The Guard at the first boat was shouting:
‘All aboard! The one escape from Lionheart for any pets and people here! Leaving in 1 minute.’
I only just got on before the boat set sail. I watched as there were more flames coming from other houses and I saw that the pool had been fenced in with people in it. Whoever did this must be horrible.
I looked at Ditz and he was covered in fur balls.
“Fur Balls?: I thought, “There are no cats on our street and Ditz can’t produce them.”
I looked down at the laptop I grabbed in was broken. There as a claw scratch on the back. I needed to fix this laptop so hopefully, I could hear Gogo again.
