How great it is to come back and read the Brooks again! I couldn't stop laughing at the ghost story and I also loved the comment "hang on. I'm gonna hurl" Some of the shots you took of ~~Don~~ Rory looking at the fire ants was fantastic. Yay for the Brooks!

Gross, bugs are gross and tell Rory that he is crazy and insane. Aspirations shouldn't have you eating bugs.
And I love the ghost story. It is like something that came out of one of my old story books.

I think I remember that kid's book and saw the movie. For some reason I wasn't as grossed out by it as everyone else was. I thought it was sort of cool back then.

Does a white ghost actually appear in Granite Falls? I wish I could have gotten Outdoor Retreat.

Early the next morning before the sun was up, Rory was off on yet another adventure.

Hermit: That's when I found myself here. I stumbled upon that opening, searched thru it and found this place and never went back to the outside world.

Rory: So, you have been here alone? All these years? This place is beautiful. I thought it was all make believe.

Hermit: *laughing* No son, it's quite real. You will find all kinds of things here. I grow my own herbs and veggies. Catch my fish fresh from the lake and the best part is I do get to see a friendly face so often when someone finds the entrance.

Rory: I'm working on my Herbalism skills, would you mind me asking a few questions?

Hermit: Not at all. Go ahead and ask away.

Rory set about asking the ole hermit about different recipes he had came across and the different types of herbs that grew wild in the forest.

As he asked his questions, the ole hermit sat and listened and answered all his questions. He was happy to see such a eager learner and to also have some company for awhile.

Rory went out the grill and started to work on some the remedies that the ole hermit told him about. He wanted to do some but he also knew it was getting close to time for the family to get back to Willow Creek also.

They told a selfie together to remember each other by. Rory told the ole hermit that he such come visit them one day in Willow Creek.

Rory explain about the family dynasty and all about his Grandpa Colt. The ole hermit thought Colt was funny.

Skye: Did you have fun this time Rory?

Rory: Yes ma'am, met a ole hermit. He was pretty nice.

Rory: *talking to Skye* He gave me some recipes for remedies that I can make. I'm gonna make grandpa some insect repellent.

Rory: Prefect.. I'm so good!!

Herb headed upstairs to the nursery, seems like today is someone birthday.

Devon: I need to do something with my hair. It's sticking straight up. And I think I need glasses, everything is fuzzy.

Herb: I'm fine. I'm just a little upset that my son is gonna grow up with me. I was here for Rory, but I'm gonna miss out on Devon.

Hey, don't talk like that. Enjoy what time you have now.

Herb: Easy for you to say.

Devon: *hoping down from stool* RORY!!! RORY!!

Rory: Little dude!! Look at you all grown up.

*hugs*

Devon: Now I can actually hug you and talk to you.

Rory: So true and you don't smell like a poopy diaper anymore!

Skye: Rory Brooks, that's not nice.

Rory: Oh grandma, he knows I'm kidding. right squirt?

Devon: It's okay grandma, it's a brother thing.

Herb: Jerry?? I hope you are comfortable, I mean you just walk around in your swimwear like it's just nothing.

Jerry: Thanks, I am comfortable. It feels refreshing to let my skin breathe.

Zoey: *laughing* You two are always going on about Jerry's clothes.

Zoey: How do I love thee, let me count the ways...

Herb: I'd rather show you later if you let me.

WOW, Look at you!!

Zoey: I want to look good for my honey bunny.

Herb: OMG!! Zoey, you look wonderful, Hey, let's go in there and *whispers* pssst, shhs .....

Zoey: Giggles.. Herb your so bad.

I'm outta here.....

Yep, it catches up with you at your age.

Devon: Grandpa, are you as evil as Rory says you are?

Colt: What do you think kid?

Devon: I think you are a nice man, but you can snap a persons neck if they make you mad enough.

Colt: *chuckles* Smart kid..

Yeah Devon is a cutie, in game he is a teen now, doesn't look quite the same. But not a Don clone but does have some likeness there.

Rory, "you don't smell like a poopy diaper anymore!" How funny! If Rory said that to me, I would've said something of the, "I was too cool to smell like a poopy diaper!" Applause to Devon's growing up, and his utmost tolerance for Rory. That guy just makes me die of laughter!

Devon certainly knows what's up with Colt.
