Typo in tips section:   The most I saw was $260, from 13 tips and a large crowed - but they kept coming, in random numbers - the minimum is $20,

Also my sim was given an $8 dollar tip then a $14 dollar tip and then the next one was $20 and so on from there. He got the tips when he was in the DJ's club secret meeting room, so I guess his club members were tipping him! lol

Thank you I will watch for club members giving tips and see if I can record it as fact by isolating them (as it sounds you did).

I see you can hire a headlining dj, but can your sin become a headlining dj?

I wasn't able to see anything like being a headlining DJ. You're just getting better tips from the higher level, and that greatly impacts how much you earn. Hiring one should have them at a higher level and more likely to be able to use the mood-boosting abilities. Honestly it might be more interesting to just hire a DJ than play one, because they may throw the random moodlets on the crowd? Haven't tested it much!

Hired DJ's do throw random moodlets on the crowd, it makes for a fun party.

My L9 sim received a single tip of $691 in the nightclub. Looks like it could be possible to make a living from DJing. I haven't applied any reward traits at to this sim. (Later the same night he received $401, $521, $661, and $849. But I was struck by the bug that gives your sim the wrong amount so he didn't actually get the money from the last four tips.)

So this is my slowest EP coverage, ever.. but I will get back on track now that some more pressing issues are fixed! Going to spend some time getting back to myself as that was rather difficult, but will be happily back to playing and notetaking for the new EP next week! Thanks everyone who shared info here.

I'll put a bit more in about hiring DJs, see if I can find a need to bring up any bugs, and get pages around the site updated for the new aspiration and things like that. The gateway is in terrible shape but I'll get to it

@Playalot got dancing and DJ added to the gateway (just put coming soon on the dancing skill). Not sure how to get a full page out of such a minor one, but I guess lots of pictures?

I do have those and notes taken before other issues and the holidays hit, so I should be able to get that out soon. Given how long my Clubs guide is, I think the magazine editor will appreciate the dancing skill being short and sweet.

@Carl  I laughed out loud when I read the above then rushed over to your guide to look for the dancing page, but it's yet to arrive, haha.
I know kids can learn to dance, but I've yet to try a group dance with all kids...

Maybe a photo in the Pan Europa club? The Spin Masters have a club hangout there, downstairs. I'm not good at the whole screen capture thing, though, and found it impossible to hit the right angles for good shots.

Lol well I'm not too proud of the dancing page I just published. There might be a moodlet or two I missed, I'm convinced there isn't much to it but there is at least an ideal mood! I think it's a nice side attraction and they could only go so far with it. You couldn't have the club system and places for Sims to hang out without including dancing. At least it's not a hidden skill

@Carl When you do a group dance there are more than two options that become available. By the time your sim is at Level 5 there are 5 group dances to choose from: Lean Back; Spin,Snap, Sway; Boogie Down Woogie; Break It Down; and One, Two Steppin.
