That title was amazing!!  And as usual, the update was also outstanding!
Totally did not see the vampire twist coming!  Clever way to ensure some of your choice spouse options stay around. 
And Garrison.  "Garrison angry.  Garrison smash!!"  Yep, he is so Hulked out now!
Theresa and her crazy hijinks  ;=)  As I've said before, she may be a nightmare for you to play, but she's update comedy gold!!
I'm so excited to see how things go for Jet in his new place (and I'm relieved that Lone will help him gauge when that birthday should happen so you don't have to play through another entire teen stage).

In my haste to post my update and get to bed, I forgot to credit MarianT and reggikko for the vampire idea. I've added that info at the end of the update and hope you'll read it.
I'm glad you enjoyed the update. I've been concerned lately about my seeming inability to cover an entire week in a single update.
Scamp (formerly Diamond) should be a handful--I would never deliberately choose the Troublemaker trait, lol.

Haha, I certainly don't consider your rainboo remark to be off-topic because it affects all gameplay using rainbow skintones.
So your Rival rainboo pollinators have been targeting rainboo women for best results?

Writing a "footnote" about an update title is a bit excessive, I know, but Lethal Weapon 4 is not exactly a new movie, lol.
As for the vampire twist, please go back and read the "Credits" above at the end of that update.
Now that points can't be gained or lost, this challenge is very relaxing, hahahahaha.
Theresa doesn't faze me anymore, either, even though she's constantly stopping by the easels to start (but rarely finish) a painting. Jet just tosses the half-done canvasses.

I'm also really excited about moving Jet into the lovely Tudor Bungalow and raising more toddlers.   But he still has six sim-days until Lone's birthday...

Love the title!  The Lethal Weapon franchise is one of my favorites lol.  I snickered a lot at the whole thing between Jet and Caleb.  Especially the bit about Jet watiing outside Caleb's house XD

It's good to see Caleb taking on such a helpful role in the Dynasty  Great reference to a wonderful movie franchise, brings back loads of fun memories (I'm too old for this s..t! hehehe) I've used the Vampire for a day strategy as well and was shocked when the age reset, but luckily  (as you said) you have Lone to help age him back to normal.. Got to love @MarianT 's very clever way to hold on to good Townies .. and their houses

I'm so glad you liked the Lethal Weapon films, too. They were so funny! I ended up not using the screenshot, but Jet and Caleb have been good friends for a long time.

Haha, I am an unabashed fan of Caleb. How funny! Whenever I think of those films, that line by Danny Glover always comes to mind first.
Because I'm in my fourth generation now, my simverse is empty except for the households I've sustained by pollinating, the Vatores and Vlad, and of course Mr. Wonderful Pear.
The last three households bring my household count to eight, however, so I can't move any homeless sims into nice houses, either.
Since the remaining five houses are all related to the Lees, I only turned two sims into vampires.
If only I'd thought to do it at the very beginning when I had so many occupied houses in every neighborhood!
Hopefully, though, I've locked down a few of the  nice houses.

4.25: Scamp the Scalliwag

Week 18/Thursday

Jet: This is Scamp, the Akita puppy I adopted earlier today.
Scamp: I am a canine yogi!

Jet: No, he's not. He's still learning to run!
Anyway, we're here at the Pupperstone Park in Brindleton Bay.


Right after we arrive, I meet a dog named Genji Mori. Genji is soon joined by his owner Yumiko Mori.
Yumiko needs to fire her fashion consultant, imho.

I've noticed a lot of new young adult females around lately. Are the Powers-Above trying to help the Lees find spouses?
Well, then, how about moving more young adults into houses, huh?

Genji! Stop sniffing my behind!


Meet my new clubmate: Aarohi Anand.
She's a Niche Broadcaster at sims.tv (Level 6 Social Media).
But that's not why I've invited her to my club.

While I was a starving fledgling vampire in Forgotten Hollow, Aarohi did me a huge favor.
Even though we'd just met, she agreed to let me drink from her wrist.
For that kindness, I feel deeply indebted to her.

She's a childish, cheerful, bookworm. I wish she'd move into a house in Brindleton Bay already!


Jet: I'll have to wait for Scamp's adult birthday to train him, but he's an adorable pup just the same!
Well, he did learn to pee outside while we're at the park today!


I'm so happy to see Scamp getting love from my clubmates, too.
Saanvi is a dog-lover so her fondness for Scamp doesn't surprise me.
Aaradhya, on the other hand, is a cat-lover.

Naturally, Scamp is eating up all the attention!
Saanvi: Oh, is that how it is? I see I have some competition for Jet's affections…


Jet: Speaking of competition, my good friend Caleb also shows up at Pupperstone Park.
Saanvi: "Speaking of competition"? What's that supposed to mean?
Jet: *gets autonomously hugged by Caleb

Caleb: Tsk, tsk, Jet. That was a dreadful choice of transitional phrase. Saanvi will misunderstand.
Jet: *shrugs
Caleb: And have you explained to her the history between you and me?

Jet: You see, when I was in grade school, Caleb was my first adult friend for Social Butterfly.
He's the first vampire I ever met and, since then, we meet up every so often.


My puppy Scamp is a natural celebrity!
He's already gained 25 Simstagram followers!


Saanvi: So this is what my future looks like?
Married to a husband who's constantly surrounded by adoring fans plus a dog who's an attention hog?


Jet: If you haven't figured it out by now, I'm planning to eventually run a vet clinic.
I take Scamp to the Vital Vet Clinic in Newcrest for a checkup, but learn they don't treat puppies.

Scamp: Wan! Wan!
Jet: What do you think, Scamp? Should we try to buy out this clinic or build our own?


When Lone texts me that he and Pris are back from school, I take everyone to Magnolia Blossom Park for homework.
My offspring Medhi Mandir also turns up there, undergoing his transformation the moment he arrives.
Check out his magnificent handlebar moustache. 

After escorting Medhi home, I go check on Charity who also transforms right away.
Now here's someone who looks she enjoys being a vampire!


I phone Vlad and ask him to meet me at the Cadenza Lounge in Oasis Springs.
Frankly, I think he owes me BEEG time for his new dark form!
Not only does he have hair but he's also dressed like one of the Village People.

Caleb phones and I'm pretty sure he wants to turn me (again).
While I wonder aloud if he could just lick my neck without the biting, he hangs up.


Vlad: Excuse me, Jet. I couldn't help overhearing.
Vampires do not lick necks as a sign of affection; it's strictly to soften up the skin…
Jet (changes subject in denial): Hey, how can we be friends but still strangers?


Friday

I've been trying to level my Vet skill today with no luck.
Despite being able to create three types of "calming" medicines, I can't learn the skill at all.

Is it because I'm a teen? Then, when I try doing Lab Work, the skill appears and starts rising.
And though I've since learned to craft treats, doing so doesn't affect my Vet skill at all.
So annoying!


In the evening, I take everyone to the Spice Festival.
The Lees have attended every Spice Festival since this dynasty's inception.
That's nine Spice Festivals over 18 weeks, but still no UFO plant. Phooey!

Scamp is smart. He doesn't even bother to visit the festival area.
He curls up in a karaoke room until we're ready to go home.


Saturday

Scamp aged up to an adult today around noon, while I was laboring at the crafting machine.
Yo dawg, it's time we started some training. Handsome devil, ain't he?


Scamp takes forever to learn how to sit, but he really wants to run the obstacle course.
I'm only Pet Training 2, so the course takes Scamp 45 minutes to complete, with 2 faults.

As a reward, I take Scamp for a walk at Crystal Cove.
Sorry, Scamp! I really wanted us to live by the beach but it didn't work out that way!
I hope you'll get to live on beachside property someday!


Back at Pupperstone Park, Scamp learns to heel and tries the obstacle course again.
I notice an option to set that hoop on fire, but I'll wait until Scamp and I are more experienced.


Week 19/Sunday

Where did the day go? I mostly pass the hours preparing to move out.
Lone and I age up early Tuesday morning, so I don't have much time left.

I paint some portraits of Scamp from photos I took at the beach yesterday.
There's one I like enough to hang in our museum, so I'll do that later tonight.


While I'm painting I get repeated messages that Scamp got bit by a squirrel.
Aspiring vet that I am, I decide to buy some vet equipment because my family can afford it.

The recommended post-exam treatment is to give a Feelgood Serum Shot. Not for me!


At the Surgery Station, I perform Extract Excess Cuteness Surgery on Scamp for $50.
It may seem not that much more than the $25 Feelgood Serum Shot.
But don't forget that, at my future clinic, I'll also charge $60 more for three types of diagnostic scans.

Good to know that, once I can afford to build a clinic, I can open for business right away!


You know you're homies with Vlad when he calls to ask you out for Guys Night!
I'd never figured Vlad for the "party down" type so I invite Caleb along, too.
To my utter embarrassment, the bartender says I don't qualify for the Guys Night discount.

Oh well. I order my favorite drink to find out what it is.
Vlad: Your favorite drink is Sea Splash? That's classy, Jet!
Caleb: It is! Don't you hate when a sim orders their favorite drink, then it turns out to be water?!


Monday

Our simverse is so dangerous at night! If it's not a vampire break-in, it's an alien abduction.
Uncle Nimb gets abducted for the second time.
Including Papa's abduction, that makes three abductions within four weeks.
Senior Pollination Technician #3 really likes our family, I guess.


Lone: I can't believe this is our last day of high school, Jet!
Pris: You two are so lucky! I still have until the end of this week!
Jet: I'm so done with high school!

Lone: Hey, Jet! Aren't you worried about Scamp being home alone with Theresa and the butler?
Jet: Nah, what kind of trouble could Scamp get into anyway?


Tuesday

Jet: Scamp and I max Pet Training then I spend the hours until my birthday cleaning up the household inventory.

When 5 am rolls around, I blow out my candles but nobody cares except Papa and Scamp.
Look at Lone, busy taking a selfie. Sheesh!

Whatever! After I move out, I'll remember that you cared, Papa.
Now, where is Saanvi Joyson? We need to talk!

  Three days later at Guys Night, I checked again and the Strangers title was gone.
*I'm not sure when it happened but all my sims in this household have lost their "special relationships" that came with the Parenthood pack.

A lovely update.  It was pretty cool seeing Jet in relaxed mode with no points concern going on or anything.  Poor Saanvi, married to a celebrity (and his dog).  Must say, she's quite lucky that Aarohi is a homeless Sim or she might have had some competition!
Looking forward to seeing Jet in his new place (and keeping track of points)!

Not only does Vlad sport a cool new Dark Form with hair, he's returned to his Grand Master vampire rank.
I'm tempted to make a copy of this challenge file to create a new vampire and see if Vlad welcomes him to the vampire community.
Vlad never phoned Jet....well, except to party down at Guys Night, lol.

We were planning to "compel for a small drink" when she declined but, to my surprise, she agreed.
Of course, the choice sims will never move into a house during my challenge hehe.

4.26: Hello Kitteh

Previously with the Lees:
   • Midway between his teen and young adult birthdays, Jet asks Caleb to turn him;
   • During his 24 hours as a vampire, Jet turns Sofia's daughter Charity and totally unrelated Mehdi Mandir, then re-turns Vladislaus Straud IV;
   • After the death of the prolific Masato Ikeda (rest his soul), Jet adopts a male Akita puppy and names him Scamp;
   • Many joy-filled days without tracking points ensue, then Jet and Lone celebrate their young adult birthday.

Week 19/Tuesday

Jet: Have you ever noticed how much I resemble both of my parents? Probably not.
From the front, you can see I've inherited the devilishly handsome look of Papa Garrison.
But from the side, you might recognize Mama Merri's low-bridge button nose.


Lone: What are you doing, standing in the hallway and eating Tajine? I'm ready to move out, bro!
Jet: Hold your horses, Ranger! I'm trying to learn a few San Myshuno recipes before I leave.
Just got to eat some Pho. Don't you wanna be a Spice Hound?

Aarohi: Notice me senpai! I'm gorgeous, a Level 6 Internet Celeb, and I clean autonomously!
Pris: No way Jet would leave me behind but move in Aarohi with him! Way!?


Since Jet and Saanvi are already good friends, their relationship zones quickly into romance.

Jet: Could the Pollinator's Parlor be any uglier? Why didn't Watchette ever redecorate?

Saanvi: Huh, I was expected a more romantic setting but…I'll take it!


Jet (internally): Seriously? She wears pink bunny slippers to bed?

Saanvi: Uh, Jet? Aren't you supposed to put a ring on it first?

Jet: Now that you seem nauseous, I'd like to take you somewhere special, Saanvi.
Saanvi: Is that why you're dressed like Sebastian Michaelis, the demon from The Black Butler manga/anime?

Jet: No flaming my formal wear, girl. Would you please change into your formal wear, too?
Saanvi: Uh, you're looking at it…


Scamp: Whoopee-doo! I get to be the witness!
Yeah, yeah, I know. This is where all the Lees have proposed to their spouses.


Scamp: Do you mind speeding it up a bit, you two?
It's been over an hour now and nature's urgently calling me. *howls painfully


Jet: Hurray, Scamp! We did it! We got married and moved down the street.
Scamp: So, where's Saanvi?
Jet: Oh, her? You and I moved into her house, so we're here but she's still back at the Lost Garden of Healing.
Scamp: *snorts


Jet: Here's my twin Lone, watching TV with my brother-in-law Advaith.
By the way, here's the rundown of our household, from oldest to youngest:
   • Saanvi (1 day to Adult): Dog-Lover, Cat-Lover, Childish (Serial Romantic)
   • Advaith (15 days to Adult): Loner, Gloomy, Squeamish (Fabulously Wealthy)

You are not surprised, I'm sure, that I first lay out garden planters and place my seeds in them.
Then, I summon my club to plant and water the seeds.
Selling my harvestables, my photos, and paintings adds $30,000 to our household.  (2 points)


Since Saanvi's in my household and Aaradhya's an elder, I've added two new clubmates.
I'd initially planned to move in the young adult Dhruv Nair (left) as a pollinator.
Now I'm thinking there's no need to move in a pollinator right away.
He looks like the boy Tessie recently met at the Romance Festival, lol!

We're hoping the insider Finley Alonzo (right) gets acceptable traits as she ages.
She shows very strong promise as a future spouse candidate (translation: Watchette loves her house).


Advaith: So, what did Jet say when he learned you have the Serial Romantic aspiration?
Saanvi: To my surprise, he hasn't mentioned it at all though I'm sure he knows.
Should I be worried that he doesn't seem at all jealous?

Advaith: Hah, that's one aspiration that you will never finish, sis!
I have the Fab Wealthy aspiration which is one of the easiest to complete, even with just free days.


Jet: Before I start earning points for our first free day, I make an important call. Yep, we're adopting a kitteh!

Initially, I'm excited about seeing three kitties, but am only allowed to choose two.
I guess that means that Saanvi is pregnant for sure!


The ASPCA rep shows up without any kitties.
But each time I try to "end the adoption evaluation," she simply places another carrier.

I've even cleared away all the living room furniture in a futile attempt to find the kitties.


When I notice a carrier on our front porch, I know that our ASPCA rep is doing it wrong.
I travel with the ASPCA rep to downtown Windenburg, leaving her behind at Haversham. Sheesh!

I return home to find not a single carrier in sight! Hallelujah!
At this point, I save/exit the game, delete the game cache files, and repair the game. *sighs


Wednesday

I'm going to try to adopt a kitty again. Hopefully, we can succeed this time.
It's 12:30 am when Peanut Butter (left, male) and Noodle (right, female) arrive.
After getting acquainted with both kittens, I'm ready to adopt Peanut Butter.

But then, both kittens mysteriously disappear.
The ASPCA rep (a different one this time) informs me that my evaluation has ended.


When I phone to adopt a cat yet again, I'm relieved that Peanut Butter is still available.
I'm done fooling around! This time, I only request to see Peanut Butter.
Even though his traits differ from the last time, I adopt the little guy anyway.


I rename him Gent Lee.
Gent's a friendly prowler. He's also a glutton, just like Scamp.


It's then I realize that I still haven't ended the adoption evaluation.
Where's that dang ASPCA rep go anyway?
ASPCA rep: So, you decided to adopt him after all? Lovely pool you have!

Adopting Gent took a whopping eight whole hours!
I began the process yesterday at 7:30 pm but didn't finish until just now at 3:30 am.
She will pay for this with her life! *shakes fist


In my capacity as the watcher, I sentence the ASPCA rep to death at the pit for incompetence.
I laugh gleefully as the pit beast gobbles her up and Grim arrives to reap her pathetic soul.

Oh wait! That's Grim from The Sims Medieval. What are you doing here?


Thankfully, I'm a young adult and no longer stuck on Renaissance Sim!
Joining three careers at Level 3 earns me 3,000 satisfactions points. (5 points)


My Cooking and Handiness are both Level 7, so I only need one more level each!

Poor Scamp looks so miserable!
It's no doubt a combination of getting used to a new home, meeting Gent Lee, and my being so busy.


Scamp: *whimpers sadly
Lone: I don't know what to tell you, Scamp. Jet's responsible for taking care of all of us.
He won't have the time to chill with only you all the time like at our old house.
And you know he can't take you with him to his future vet clinic, right?

Maybe you could take up knitting?


Jet: And I've completed Renaissance Sim! (7 points)
Boosting a sixth skill to Level 8 also nets me another 1,000 satisfaction. (8 points)
My new aspiration is Friend to the Animals, natch.

Finally, I go back and max Cooking. (10 points)
It's 9 am, folks. Let's all get started on our first free day!

(I can't believe it took me longer to adopt a kitty than to earn a free day…)


Lone: So, from one helper to another, you got any plans for this generation?
Advaith: I'd just like to NOT be the household member who's always passing out and wetting their pants.

Lone: Ah, your ambitions are lofty ones! Me, I'm joining the Painter career.
Why don't you join the Scientist career?
Our watcher absolutely dotes on Scientist sims, you know!

Woohoo! Congrats on the new digs, Jet! And on a quick free day earned! Is is wrong that I'm more excited about the incoming baby's name than actually meeting the kid? Your Lee puns are cracking me up, and I think Gent the Cat is the cutest one yet.

Sims Medieval Grim is completely terrifying! I've never played that game, and now I don't think I ever will. Eeek! Are you playing it, though? If so, I'm dying to hear about it. A punishment pit sounds like something that would come in awfully handy now and then.

Anyway, love your story and your gorgeous Sims and am following your progress with great interest.
