Beautiful vistas

I was wondering what the qualifications were to make a lot a vista? I want to move my sim onto a lot and build my own house but I can't seem to find one that doesn't have a house on it. I'm in barnacle bay. I want that moodlet so there's an automatic happy feeling.

Lots are designated 'beautiful vista' when the world is created, so in EA towns, they are always set lots. Someone who has played BB extensively might be able to tell which lots have that buff, and how much (it varies).

When I know which lot has the beautiful vista that has a house on it and I want to put my own house there, I move or bulldoze the other house. If the house is occupied, see if the occupants have the beautiful vista moodlet, then steal their lot.

Barnacle Bay is my favorite town, but it is lacking in two things: special seeds and beautiful vistas. You'll have to do without, sorry.

I'd have to go into my game to verify this...however I think that house on the island in BB has the mood let. I've also found special seeds there. It's been way too long so I can't remember where they were.

I don't have BB, but what you could do is let your sim walk to every lot you might be interested in and see what kind of moodlet will popup.
