Genie Lamp just appearing in inventory

One of my spares in my immortal dynasty has the genie lamp in his inventory and I don't really know how it got there. I know I did not buy it using his lifetime happiness points and he is not a performer so he didn't get it that way. He had not visited the catacombs at all so that is out too.
He has traveled through the dimension gate thingy on the sphere thing you get from showtime. Could he possibly have gotten it then. I didn't check his inventory right after that because well I don't really need to.

There is a very rare chance that coming back from the dimensional gate will grant you a genie lamp so that's probably how you got it.

Thanks Rica I had a feeling that was where it came from but I wasn't sure. What is the betting I never get the genie lamp that way again.

There is an 8% chance to get it from the trans-dimensional trip and an 3% chance to acquire it from exploring the catacombs.  In terms of performances: you need at least 20 legendary performances before being awarded the lamp.
