The Chili Dynasty II - Immortality - De Arbol's Monologue

Due to, erm, technical difficulties, I cannot use an exact clone of Habenero to restart this Dynasty. Therefore I am using another Sim that vaguely resembles Habenero.

But all the more, a big welcome to The Chili Dynasty II! Back again in Barnacle Bay, Habenero hopes to start up something special. Her seven descendants will help construct the Dynasty. It will not fall (again)!

Our ever fearless founder got herself to the Coastal Family quicksmart and started befriending Jake and getting her hands on precious life fruit. Yum. She swooped in, and he was putty in her hands by Day 2. She soon got a job and some skills down, starting her up well.

What happens next in the Chili's? We'll find out soon.

The next day was eventful. Jake Coastal moved in and went to complete an opportunity. He managed to snag the rare opportunity to "eat" Ambrosia at the Bistro, but luckily, he only gained the Divine Meal moodlet. I would also like to introduce you to the new Habenero.




Habenero and Jake are like two peas in a pod. They get along famously (they're also famous, both 4 star Celebrities, annoyingly enough), and soon enough they were Going Steady.

Habenero and Jake, up a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!



First comes love...

Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome the newest member of the Chili Immortal Dynasty, Serrano Coastal (soon to be Serrano Pepper).

Sorry I haven't updated recently. I've been busy - I have a Foods Assessment on Friday next week which I have to do a lot of preparation for, plus a possible essay in English, and my exams are in the next week or so.

Chapter 2
Chapter? What Chapter?
Our hero's next few days were eventful.
She and Jake are slowly building their Life Fruit supply, and are on the way to a nice new home. I hope that they enjoy this home - it took me long enough to build it!

On another note, I am almost ready to tie Jake to his easel and slam his painting skill again and again. I wish there was a Chantrell Riffin in Barnacle Bay. And then, like a miracle, there was TommyT.
I searched the forum. There is a Chantrelle Riffin in BB - her name is Fawn Annan and she is going to be Jake's best friend! And Habenero's Best Friend! Yay!

Now, just to end this very short chapter, I want to share with you a picture. I'll soon be posting this on the Cute Pet Pictures thread, but here it is for you to enjoy! Readers in New Zealand will probably react when I say these words: "Cross the oceans cross the seas", Wilson, Lotto.
Basically there's a Lotto Ad in New Zealand with the cutest little dog in it. Here's the spitting image of Wilson, in my opinion.

Chapter 3
Sadness, and Yayness!
It saddens me greatly to announce that... Jake had to quit his job. I looked at the jobs panel. There would be 5.5 hours every day where nobody would be home to look after Serrano. So I had Jake quit his job, since it was more important for Habenero to get to Level 10.

Yayness, now. Fawn Annan has aged up to Teen, so let the Friending begin in earnest. He used his (un)patented "Hi kids! I wanna be your best friend!" maneuver on Fawn when she was a wee child, so that pays off now.

Our major points of interest now. On the scoreboard, you'll see that Jake has 5 Painting Skill Points, but Habenero has just hit the books and edged ahead with 6 Cooking Skill Points.

In other news, the Babysitter I had to hire (Jake was filming a commercial, and Habenero was at work) told me her pay was $75. I only had $12 (I had just been building the house shell). And nothing actually happened.

And so ends another chapter. What will happen next!?

Sorry for the lack of updates. As you may (or may not) have heard, I've had problems with the 1.34 patch, so I'm trying patch up to play.

Chapter Four
Long time, no see.
It's been a while!

I've had a few recent achievements ingame - first of all, I discovered that the Baby Swing from the store doesn't work for me. Oh yay.

Regardless, Habenero, who still hasn't bothered to change her name from Coastal back to Pepper, taught Serrano to walk. I don't usually do this with my children, but she had a spare moment of time, so I did.

I also finally built them a proper house. It's by no means finished, but it's still four walls and a roof. Here's a teaser shot:




Next up on our trip is a short visit to watch Serrano walk. Yes, I did take a picture.



So, that's about it. There's not much more happening, Jake is busy raising his painting skill, Habenero's doing everything, pretty much, and Serrano is just being Serrano.

Nice story so far.  They "fixed" the swing in the patch so now it actually has to be moving in order for the needs to be met.
