How does one sell an album?

My singer Sim popped up the wish to sell two albums and I was all like okay I will get right on that but I have no idea how to do it.

Oh! I know this It was confusing at first, though.
Just click the sim you want to sell the album to and choose the "Singer" interaction, then choose "Sell album"
I'm not sure and I can't quite remember, but you might need to be friends (?) with the sim in question for the option to appear?

You have to at least be friends. i had one friend refuse to buy it though, and their relationship dropped.

I've sold albums to people who weren't friends.  I guess the success of selling an album could depend partly on traits; that could explain the difference in our experience.  I imagine Easily Impressed sims are more likely to buy and Frugal sims less likely, for example.

Just to let everyone know that you cannot sell albums to family members no matter how high their relationship is. So much for the nepotism route to sucess.
