Sending a child to boarding school how many skill points might they get?

If I was to send a teen to the sports academy how many skill points will they get in athletics.

Also if they were to go to one of the other boarding schools what skills will they gain skill points in.

Not sure of the number of skill points (I think up to 3); but, now I send them as a child to one school and then as a teen to another to get more skills.

The guide written for boarding schools can tell you what types of skills to expect.

Seems like Smartie had three points worth of her skills after attending the art school.  I believe she had points in all the instruments, plus painting and maybe even sculpting.
