WA is that rather buggy, which is doubly irritating since it was the first expansion, so you'd think they'd have gotten around to tackling all those potentially game-killing issue at some point by now. Twallan's Error Trap and Traveller make it better, but there is still something very wrong when a game's players have to do the developers' bugfix work. I also found it disappointing that there really isn't much to see or do in the vacation worlds, they're just very bare-bones.
I still like the occasional vacation, and the new skills are fun even though Martial Arts and Nectar Making seem sadly and oddly devoid of opportunities?
Generations is in a way the opposite of WA since it doesn't expand the "breadth" of the game but rather some of its "depth". It has some fun features, but how valuable they are be depends on whether you like all the family/kid stuff. For me, it's the EP I'd ditch if I had to pick one of ones I have (i.e. all but Showtime) because I dislike children -- and between school, homework and basic needs, there's not much time for children and teens to do "kid stuff" anyway, especially if you want to start them on skills early.
