Chapter 24

The next next couple of days seemed to fly by and it was soon the twins birthday.  The night before, we had just went to bed, when I heard a strange noise in the back.  Dylan was fast asleep already, so I went down to see what it was.  I couldn't believe my eyes, it was Fiona's ghost.  It looked like she was admiring her trophies.  I had to get a closer look, have to admit, I was kind of scared.  What if she didn't know me anymore, seeing how she was in a ghost state.

I shouldn't have had anything to worry about.  I whispered to her, that I missed her very much and still loved her with all of my heart.  She begged for a treat and I gave her a granola bar, that I still had on me.  She went to check on Dragon and Jersey and then she was gone.

I finally went back to sleep.  Tomorrow was a big day, not only the twins birthday, but I finish up our packing for our honeymoon we never went on.  I bought the two cakes and when Harley got home from school, we proceeded with the festivities.  Heather was first:

Then Haley:

Talk about getting stuffed on cake.  I don't think I have ever been so full.  Although it was late, the twins headed out to the tree house.  They needed to play off some of that sugar and I didn't say anything for now.

I finally had to pry them out of there for bed.  I am glad we still had another twin bed to put up in the room.  Dylan had a talk with Harley and gave her intructions on what to do while we gone.  Honey would be over after the twins were out of school and she was to make sure the chores were done and the horses taken care of.  She promised me that they would be fine.

We finally settled and got some sleep.  I was so excited about tomorrow morning.  I just know this trip is going to make Dylan and I closer.......

Unfortunately, they will be staying home.  Dylan and Tricia are going on their honeymoon.  Might take the kids someplace at a later date, not sure yet. :)

Chapter 25 - "France here we come"

The next morning, we said our goodbyes to the girls and watched them get on the bus and then off we went.  I was so excited.

I love you so much Dylan, now lets go.

We pulled up to our destination, we were hungry, but I threw my arms around my husband and told him, oh my gosh, this so beautiful.  How did I deserve a man like you.  He told me it should be the other way around.

There are many pics, so will let the pictures do the talking.  They do say, a picture is worth a thousand words, enjoy.
We ate:

We kissed:

Went sightseeing:

We kissed:

We played:

We explored:

We played again:

Ate by a campfire:

Played again:

On our last night, Dylan took my hand and we ran to a clearing to watch the stars.

That was so romantic.  We walked hand in hand back to the hotel and he turned to me and said, "you know I told you I had something to tell you, but I wanted to wait to see the outcome.  First, I finalized my properties and we have a ton more money.  Second, I, umm, made my will.  Before you say anything, let me explain.  We already have our girls future taken care of, but I just wanted to insure that my everything else was taken care of.  Tricia, if something should ever happen to me, you are all set for life.  You won't ever have to work a day in your life, unless you want to.  If the girls decide to stay in town, you can buy them a house or they have the money to take with them, wherever they decide to go." "Dylan, are you not telling me something?  Are you sick? what?"  Dylan, "No baby, nothing is wrong, but this was just the right thing to do.  I just wanted to make sure my family was taken care of, thats all."  I love you Dylan and "I love you"

We left real early the next morning and when we got home, the girls were still in school.  We were exhausted and decided to take a nap to get our bearings after the long trip.  There was something still bothering me though, I just couldn't put my finger on it......

I saw that lady too.  It seemed like she was following my sims, lol, so I went ahead and took the picture anyway.  I thought she was kind of creepy myself.

Chapter 26 - "Nothing lasts forever"

Months had passed since our vacation and we had settled back into our daily routines.  Dylan and I spent every waking moment together, working, laughing, playing and loving.  They say it is not good for a couple to spend this much time together, but we had a bond that could not be broken.

Dylan and I had been doing chores all day and it was hot and we were both sticky and sweaty.  Dylan said, "hey babe, lets go swimming.  I am hot and I think we need a change of scenery."  I told him, maybe wait until tomorrow morning.  The kids would be home soon and I needed to get dinner.  He would not take no for answer and said he just wanted to lay by the pool and relax before the brood came home.  I gave in and off we went.  We got there and there wasn't anybody else there yet.  We talked and laid by the pool.  He was right, it was relaxing for a change.

We had been married all of this time and still couldn't keep our hands off of one another.

Then Dylan said, "c-mon, lets get in for a few and cool off and then we will go home, race ya."  Dylan jumped in the pool and it did look inviting.  As I was getting ready to get in, Dylan was gasping for air.

I screamed, "someone help my husband, please, he is drowning!!!"   No one was paying attention to me and I just stood there frozen, I couldn't even move to help him.

Then grim showed up and then I really lost it.  No, this can't be happening, it wasn't time yet, I didn't want to be without him, please don't go Dylan.

He begged for his life and I could barely hear Dylan say, "please grim, let me stay with my girls.  I am not ready yet."  Grim didn't care and Dylan was gone.

I thought, oh no, my girls.  I raced to the car almost knocking over a little ole lady and her dog, a kid on a bike and the stupid ice cream truck.  I got home and I guess the girls already knew, news travels fast in a small town.

Harley held me tight, while I cried myself into a stupor.  I couldn't stop.  What am I going to do without Dylan.  He was my world, my everything.

All of sudden, I had to make a mad dash to the bathroom and throw up.  This was just too much to handle right now.

I told Harley to watch after the girls and that they could stay home tomorrow.  I just needed to lay down for a few minutes.  She said, "sure mom, go ahead.  We will be fine."  I closed my eyes and all I could see was Dylan and all of the wonderful times we had together.  I couldn't bear it anymore.

REST IN PEACE, DYLAN MICHAELS

With no doubt, that was the hardest chapter I have ever wrote.  I get so attached to these silly little pixels.  I feel so silly sitting here misting up at my own story. :-X

Unfortunately yes, it was part of my story and I have never done that before and it hurt my feelings, silly me.  I have him in the bin, thank heavens.  Thanks for the comments.

Alright, what just happened??  Poor Dylan, poor Tricia, poor girls!  I thought the bad thing you said was coming was the dang horse dying. :'(  Stupid little pixiels. :'(  And on top of everything else, she's preggers again.
