Ambitions - Setting new lots

Ambitions, now lets us place lots.  Only when I press the button and try to place a lot I am  having difficulties, as the lot will not align up to the road correctly or I cannot place near the road.  Are there any instructions to help out with placing new lots. I am thinking it has something to do with the layers for the new worlds, but cannot quite get there.

I have played around with this feature a little bit, and it seems they needed to be placed on level ground.

I was having trouble finding a good location to place another 40x40 lot in Sunny Valley for example.

Is there a limit to the size of the lot you can place, and can you set the price for residential lots you place? If you can place a 60x60 lot and set it to the 14,700 price or something, then we can do legacies in Twinbrook. Otherwise, we can't.
