Plunder Island

I downloaded the Plunder isalnd from the exchange and when I try to load it it causes my sims three to stop working.  is there something I am to do differant when I install.

Do you meet all the EP requirements for the world? I heard that trying to load a world from the start without all the required EPs can cause the game to crash.
