Sims 3 TV ads

I just saw an advert on TV for The Sims3. I've never seen one before! It was part of the ad with Argos. (UK store). It took me a while to realise it was even for the Sims! At the beginning it looked like the usual ad for action type games, I think I thought it was for a GTA type game. Then it said 'build' and showed a very quick house being built. It showed a town, bridgeport I think, I'm not sure as I don't have that one.

Maybe it's because of Supernatural and Seasons coming out?

Have you seen any ads, what did you think of them?

I've seen adds for the sims 3 pets, I didn't even realise that it was the sims until the end!

I've seen them on YouTube, but I don't watch much TV so maybe that's why I haven't seen them on TV before. There's a bunch up on the YouTube Sims channel, though, and I get a kick out of watching them.

I have seen a couple of ads on TV, and I thought they were well done. One showed a real-life person with a sim house in the background, and it made me laugh. I'm from the UK, just in case it makes any difference. I don't know if there are different adverts in different countries.
