Vanilla Cheat to Increase Skills?

Is there a way to cheat through testingcheatsenabled to increase a Sim's skill points?

When I saw Vanilla I mean, no Mods/nothing that requires a Resource package.

No there isn't a cheat to increase skills. I wish there was one, but I've never seen one the whole time I've played The Sims 3.

What I've sometimes done is make their needs static and take them to the library for marathon study sessions.  It's not instantaneous, but skilling goes pretty fast when they don't have to take any breaks.

Technically, no.  But if testingcheatsenabled is on and you shift-click the mailbox, there's an option to make needs static.  I know it's not what you're looking for, but playing with static needs will greatly increase the time your sims have to skill.  They can work all day and night, and gain levels quickly.  I had a sim who maxed sculpting on day four or five of the game with this on.

Again, I know that it's not what you're looking for, but I hope that this helps you.
