How to get Rid of Genies

My sim is a genie and I want to make her a normal sim. Is that possible?

I think you will be able to with Supernatural. But right now the only way I know of is with a mod.

I don't think Genies will ever be convertible without Mods. They're not like normal sims who get turned into genies, they're totally separate.

That's true, I just thought sense you can create them in CAS that you might be able to use a cheat to take them back into CAS and change what they are. Kind of like you can take a sim back to CAS and change their sex. I guess we'll know in a few days for sure.

Are you talking about the testingcheatsenabled cheat? If so, I thought you can't bring supernaturals into CAS.

That's great! I just downloaded the new patch but didn't check to see if any of the cheats are different.

When Supernatural comes out, you'll be able to make occults in CAS. Presumably, if you use testingcheatsenabled, you could use Edit in CAS to change the occult status (and hopefully back to normal Sim). This is speculative, though, since Supernatural isnt out yet.

I hope thats true, but I will have to wait until amazon ships my dad's order (they are taking so long ).

With Supernatural, there's now an elixir that will remove any supernatural status from a Sim. There's also an opportunity that can be triggered by a romantic social that will let a supernatural forsake their powers, turning them into a normal Sim.

I tried doing this by taking a genie back in the CAS and change them and it didn't work.
I changed the genie to human and when I came back to the game she still had her genie abilities. And I tried changing her to a witch in CAS and she kept her genie abilities is now able to summon an apple like a witch but doesn't have the options to use magic even after buy her a wand.
I also tried changing a vampire to a werewolf but that didn't work either.

Aww, thats too bad. But at least there are potins to use I think in supernatural. (not sure yet, I don't own supernatural yet)
