Nice!  The wands are so cool.  My wich uses the crimson one, Why?  Because it looks cool.  So, exactly what are the most noticable differences between wands?  I've never understood that kind of thing in the sims.

The wands have two metrics - Spell Accuracy and Magic Cost Efficiency. The higher the Spell Accuracy metric is, the rarer a spell backfire will be. Magic Cost Efficency refers to how much the magic bar gets drained each time a spell is used. if the Magic Cost Efficency is high, the spell won't cost your sim as much magic.

I use the crystal when levelling up my magic skill, as it's the most power efficient, then i think its probably best to switch to the Elegant, or iridescent for the better spell accuracy, unless you're planning to cast a lot of spells at once.
