Music Boxes

I found a few of these for sale in the consignment shop, so I bought them since I thought they were cute (the lonely unicorn music box, ballerina music box, fluffy bunny music box), but where do they come from normally?  I can't make them via inventions...

You can purchase a gnome music box in Buy Mode.  After seeing others at the consignment shop, too, I started wondering if maybe they are available in the different countries.  I don't know this for sure, though.

I've travelled to all of the WA countries since installing Ambitions, and the new music boxes didn't appear in any of the stores there.  Strange!  It was nice, though, to find some things like a camera and the photography book in the consignment shop in Sunset Valley before travelling, so my Sims were able to max out their photography skills with common objects before taking nice pictures.  I had one Sim learn it and practice with the camera, and then he tutored the other Sim in it since he had max logic as well.

So far, I've seen Gnome, Ninja, Bunny, and Ballerina music boxes.

Are they meant for adults to play with? Because my toddler can't play with the music box with gnome.

I am so happy you guys talked about this.  That wish keeps coming up with my Sims and I could never find them anywhere.  I was sure I'd find them when they traveled but couldn't find them there either.  I never once thought of the consignment shop and actually I have never even been there yet.  Time to go!  Thanks

I finally found the music box under the kids catagory in buy mode.

My sims seem to love them but the music it plays is awful...I only let them play it long enough to get their fun level up...then it gets closed. 

I have seen the different ones in the consignment shop also but never thought to have them buy it.

Ok, so here is a manly man, Fire Chief, weight lifter, body builder and here he is with his music box.  Shhhh, don't tell anyone, could ruin his reputation.  LOL

Music might be terrible, but I've yet to find anything that maxes fun as fast as a music box!

I had hoped inventors could make these. Where else would they come from? Only the gnome and children's ones are on Buy.
