Permanent Golden Statue
« on: September 16, 2012, 02:18:48 PM »
I vaguely remember reading the the new philosopher stone death leaves behind a golden statue of the sim. Are their pictures? Cus if these statues are cool looking I know what my alchemist is gonna try to do to a few papparazzi XD that gives whole new meaning to gold digger...

So yea, any pics of sims turned to gold? and is their a way to get this to happen reliably?

With the philosopher's stone, the only person who could become a gold statue is the person using it so it would be your alchemist dying not the paparazzi.  However, the elixir Midas Touch will turn sims gold for a few hours.  There is a picture of this on the guide about alchemy.

Heh, well as long as your sim has a death flower, it should be okay.  Then just use it in a multi-generational family, and before long, you have a whole garden of golden statues.

Sorry for bothering. Is this meant the sims using the Philosopher's Stone with a Death Flower can get a golden statue accidentally without dying, but only consumed a Death Flower?
Now I realize playing the Sims 3 on Mac is playing the game of installation and uninstallation...

Yep. If your sim is turned into a golden statue with a death flower, you will keep the sim and their statue, but not the death flower.
