Can anyone tell me how the different colors affect a sim's mood?
Is there anyone who can explain to me how the different colors on mood lamp affects a sim's mood? It could be nice with a list of all the colors.

Not sure if you still need or want this, but here you go:

There are six colors - Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Pink, and Purple

The Blue light is the only one that lowers your Sim's mood.
Red and Yellow don't do much besides raise your mood - I haven't had my Sims do anything unusual using it.
Normal Sims risk being turned into Toads when around the Green light.
Pink causes your Sims to flirt and be more romantic autonomously.
And Purple kind of zens everyone - no negative moodlets in it's vicinity; I usually use it while they're sleeping.

Some effects that may go unnoticed:
Red - more chance to be insulting
Yellow - more chance to be funny
Green - more chance to be friendly
Blue - increase in skill gain for musical skills
