A small issue with prom and relationship/romance.
« on: September 24, 2012, 11:41:18 AM »
I had a bit of an issue arise between my one teen and her romantic interest.  They had flirted and held hands.  She asked him to prom, he accepted and they went together.  During prom, I got a notification that he asked her to go steady and she said yes.  Now, for some strange reason they have no option for romantic interactions.  They can do friendly and funny but no romance, which they could do before prom.

When I look at their status, it lists them as Partners but best friends, not boyfriend/girlfriend.  Anyone know what might be wrong? I was hoping to progress their romantic relationship but right now we're at a standstill.

Unrelated to my problem but funny...the two sims above came home with a beautiful photo, while her twin sister, who went stag, came home with a photo where she's stomping and making a crazy face.  Cracked me up.

This is pehaps a dumb question, but is he still a teen? Babysitters can age up any time.

Well dang, I just checked and that's what happened.  He aged up to YA on prom day.  I have 6 more days to wait until my girl ages, so I'll just hang out as friends until then.

Thank you Joanne!
