Failed "Love charm"
« on: October 14, 2012, 10:26:57 AM »
Not sure if this has been mentioned before, because I couldn't find a thread on it.

My sim's house mate wanted to cast a "love charm" on her; but, since his skill level isn't so good it failed. Instead she got the moodlet "imminent nemesis" which said the first person to approach her,  she would let them have it no matter who they were. The moodlet lasts 1 day unless someone approaches the sim.

The first time, her house mate started flirting with her and she beat him up and they became enemies. I didn't save and when I restarted, I kept him away from her. However, she went to work in one of the rabbit holes and became enemies with her boss who previously was her best friend!

Oh dear.

I think that a cure elixir could help with that. Also the moodlet manager because the spell or charm is tied to the moodlet. I haven't tested that (my current sims don't have one), but it does cure zombies.

I'm now wondering if there's a chance of the other charms backfiring if your not a good at casting spells. I'll have him throw the lucky charm at her and see. He doesn't know too many spells yet.

If the Lucky charm fails, you get an unlucky moodlet for 24 Sim hours or so.

If you cast a love charm again and you succeed it will overrule the first failed love charm.

That's good to know; however, he failed each time he cast it. Maybe I should have made him a fairy.
