Consignment Store Issues

For some reason I can't use my consignment shop in my game. I can go there and talk to the consignment specialist but the menu to consign things won't come up. I'm playing the game in Sunset Valley if that effects things. Please help!

Welcome to the forum, dreamforever.

The option to consign things comes up when you click on "Buy".  That will open two tabs, one to consign items and one to buy.  Have you tried that?

Yes. I've never had a problem with the consignment store before so I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I'll click "Buy" and my sim will start talking to the consignment specialist but the action will be canceled before the tabs will come up.

Have you tried exiting your game and restarting?  Another thing to try is replacing the consignment store register.

I tried replacing the consignment store entirely. It has a new consignment specialist and everything. Unfortunately, it hasn't worked. I have also tried exiting the game and restarting.

In addition to what Schipperke suggested, make sure to cancel all consignments for everyone in the house.  Sometimes there is one item that didn't sell from someone else that could be messing it up for everyone in the house.
